Foster Mate

Part 16

Alex's POV

I awake in the morning in Emily arms. I blush as I think of last night. I escape her arms and put some clothes on. I fix my hair and smiles at my neck. I kiss Emily's forehead before going outside to smoke. I go to light my cigarette but stop and put it away. I then go into the kitchen and start to make breakfast for Emily.

It's the least I can do with my plan. I make a quick breakfast and write a note explaining. I set it on the bed before quickly packing my stuff up. I step out the door and sit down on the porch. I start to cry. I walk away from the only person I will ever love. I can't tell her though. She doesn't need someone like me in her life. She can find another mate.

All I know is this time she won't accept me if I choose to come back. All I know is I just can't seem to stay in one place to long. I walk to town and called a cab. The cab arrived and I told him where I wanted to go.

It took about an hour and a half. I payed him and looked around. I enter the building after explaining why I was there. When I saw him I ran and tackled him in a hug. I mumbled I'm sorry I'm sorry. He just held me as I cried.

He took me into his office and I apologized for being such a bitch. We then really talked for a while. What he said set me straight. I just need to talk to Emily. After a while I called another cab and went home.

I arrived at home late and walk in. I find Emily and I give her a kiss but she turns away. I try again with the same result. I then storm out of the room into our bedroom. I know when I'm not wanted anymore. I start packing my bags.

I go to walk out the door with my stuff but Emily grabs my hand. She turns me to face her but I pull my hand away quickly. Right as I open the door I say "I won't be coming back anytime soon. Now just give me some space and fix your attitude."

I then exit her house and walk down the street. Tears are falling down my face. I just continue to walk away. It's all my fault. Everything is my fault. My neck start to give me pain reminding me of the mark. I continue to just walk not knowing what to do.
