Dreamkit's eyes fluttered open, she sat up and stretched. She shivered, today was colder than yesterday. Briarkit was still sleeping, so were the others. She asked Springflower if she could go outside until the other kits woke up.

So she pushed out of the bracken nursery and saw Adderstrike and his two brothers Spiritleap and Badgerflame. She walked towards them. Spiritfall bent his head down and said hello to her.

"Hello," she replied, "Do you have any fun games that you play, or do you not play when you're a warrior?" "Sometimes we play," Badgerflame responded. Spiritleap thought for a second. "Hey! Have you made StarClan cats in the snow before?" She looked up at him and said, "No, I know what StarClan is, but how can you make a StarClan cat in the snow?" "Here I'll teach you," he laid his body in the snow like he was running for second and got up. His imprint in the snow looked like a cat!

Dreamkit was in awe, and the snow sparkled like Silverpelt!! "Cool!" she exclaimed "I'm going to try!" She laid down and made a small imprint in the snow. She saw a muzzle poke out of the nursery, then two! Then three! Then four!! Her friends were awake. Now she could show them the StarClan cats she made! When they came out of the nursery Dreamkit said "Look at what I made!" "It's a StarClan cat!" squealed Briarkit. They all made StarClan cats with Spiritleap. Suddenly a deafening shriek could be heard above the clearing.

Cats panicked. There were yowls everywhere. Dreamkit got scared, her heart hammering in her head, she was feeling shaky. "What's going on?!" she wailed. "It's a hawk!" Spiritleap gasped "Get in the nursery all of you now!" he hissed. Dreamkit ran as fast as she possibly could.

Suddenly she was in the air, the hawk's talons wrapped around her tight. She mewed as loud as she could, as she was carried across the camp. She saw Spiritleap running towards the High Rock. Her mother Springflower leapt out of the nursery, yowling and hissing in grief and fury at the sky. Cats gasped and yowled around the clearing.

Sunglow looked frantic. Bluekit looked worried and scared. Dreamkit tried to wiggle out of the creature's grasp on her, only to find it tightening as the tips of its claws dug into her. She let out a squeak. She saw Spiritleap as he leapt onto the High Rock, and realized the hawk was taking her near it. Spiritleap jumped into the air and latched his claws on the hawk.

The hawk let out a cry of pain, swiping Spiritleap across the face and dropping Dreamkit. The two cats fell to the ground, Dreamkit's vision went black. She couldn't remember anything after that.

This is what cats told her.

The other cats started to come out of hiding. They gasped as they saw limp bodies on the ground. Clearstar walked out of the medicine cat den with his deputy Emberspots. They gaped at the two cats. Sunglow rushed to Spiritleap's side, licking his wounds. "Are you okay?" She sighed in relief when he nodded his head. She gasped when she saw the tiny kit not moving. Springflower ran to her daughter. She picked her up by the scruff and brought her to the medicine cat Violetdream— her sister and her apprentice Pebblepaw.

Violetdream, who had seen the whole thing, met her halfway to her den. They walked together to the old tree that was her den. Springflower set Dreamkit in a nest for Violetdream to inspect her. Violetdream bent her head down and looked at the kit named after her. "Well, she's just got some scratches that will heal quickly, but her leg is broken from the fall. It won't heal as quickly as the scratches, but she's young and will heal fast." Springflower licked Dreamkit's head. "I'm glad she's not seriously injured, thank you sister." The medicine cat looked at her sympathetically. Moondust walked in, "Hello, how is the little one?" "She broke a leg, but she will be fine." "That's good news. Do you want me to fetch you two some mice?" Violetdream and Pebblepaw nodded their heads.

Yay sorry for updating all chapters in one freaking day. But I knew I had to update eventually (considering my last update was in March). I will probably never update from April-May, as they are competition and recital months for dance. Just want you to know.
