Chapter 16- Mates ?

Recap of Chapter 15:

Stacey is coming in early so I can't wait to see her. I'm sorta anxious and nervous we haven't seen each other in almost 6 months. Can't wait to hear about all the new things at my old High school and neighborhood. I fall asleep thinking about chocolate covered strawberries and I know that's the first thing that I'm making tomorrow.

"Ana Ana Ana Ana" I hear Emma's muffled voice
"What Em I don't have to be up until 12:30, it's 9 am"
"I know I'm sorry but theres someone here to see you I think it's your friend Stacey"
When I hear Stacey I perk up
"Oh gosh she's early I didn't even clean up yet where is she ?"
"The living room" I get up quickly waddle over to my bathroom relieve myself  and wash my face.
"Emma can you get her something to eat she's had a long Journey I bet she's tired"
"Sure" She replies and walks out of my room. I look into my closet to see what I should wear I grab a nude dress with a sheer top around the breast area and match it with my army print purse and nude timberlands. I put my hair in a 1/2 up 1/2 down and head out to see Stacey.

"Ahh Stacey"
"Wow Ana look at you you look really mature and wow your belly"
I laugh and rub my ever growing baby bump.
"Pumps won't stop growing ahah"
"Pumps ?" Stacey asks I think she thinks that's the baby's name
"No no it's the nickname I don't want to find out the sex of the baby yet, speaking of Emma can I talk to you in a bit."
"Sure" She eyes me and I realize that I haven't introduced them. Well I thought they'd introduce themselves.
"Stacey this is Emma, Emma this is Stacey my best friend from my old pack" They shake hands and stare each other down.
"Emma where's Jace ?" I ask her just noticing I don't hear him anywhere
"He went for a run around the park"
"Jace? You guys live with a guy" Stacey asks
"Yes, is that a problem" Emma asks snarky
"No sorry I didn't mean to come off as rude just wondering"
"Mmhh"
I can hear Jace running up the stairs.
"Do you guys smell that ?" Stacey asks
"Smell what ?"
"It smells like mint and damp post rain forest, a really weird but pleasant smell"
Jace unlocks the door with his key and Emma walks over to him.
All of a sudden, Stacey runs over and shoves Emma out the way, she stares at Jace and they say
"MATE"
" Ohh YAY you guys are mates" I squeal giddy with excitement.
"Ana your friend is a little violent" Emma walks over to me rubbing her shoulder
"Give her a break she just met her mate aww, Let's go to brunch to celebrate"
"Give me a minute to shower all this sweat off first" He pulls Stacey along and they've gone into his room.
"15 MINUTES JACE." Emma yells at Jace
"Mmhh"
"Emma, I've decided that I'll move with you to Aaron's pack"
"Eeeehhhh, you will ?"
"Yeah but can we go see there pack Doctor tomorrow I need to get this baby checked out I don't know what's wrong but something is I can feel it"
"Of course I'll text Aaron to scoop us around 1 pm tomorrow"
"Alright"
"She walks over to me and bends Down, But there's nothing wrong with my pumps is there pumps is there" she says in a baby voice and rubs my belly. All of a sudden as she's rubbing my belly there are spontaneous kicks
"Oh look he replied"
"Emma I think there's more than one baby in here"
"What do you mean"
"Four legs just kicked me"
She smiles and replies with "the more the merrier right"
"I'm actually not sure this time around"
"Where do you want to go to get brunch" She seems chirpy.
"Well when those two lovebirds get out we can go to Rosie's Cafe"
"Okay sounds good to me"

30 minutes later we're all getting out of my car and heading into Rosie's Cafe.

Alejandro my favorite waiter comes over and takes our drink order. 2 ginger ales for the love birds and apple juice for Emma and orange juice for me.

"So Jace I've decided to move with Emma next week" hearing this he jokes on his drink
"You have ?"
"Yup I feel as if it's the best place to raise my baby or babies"
"Okay, wait babies ?"
"Yeah I'm not sure yet the doctor tried to tell me that but I thought it was a wolf thing, I'm getting checked out tomorrow at Aaron's pack"
