"Christian is he's ... he's I think he's looking for me" I start first
"What do you mean looking for you I thought he didn't want you" I flinch as he says that okay ouch that hurt
" No ana I didn't mean it like that it's just theres really no other way to put it he lost something .. someone special and one mans trash is another mans treasure, but how do you mean he's looking for you ?"
"My mom told me that she thinks something is off and he might be looking for me, I can also sense something is wrong with him and I think he's searching for me"
"Sense ?" Uh oh I forgot to tell him I didn't severe the bond between Chris and I. I look at Lexis sheepishly
"Uh yeah I haven't severed the bond between he and I" He looks taken back
"Ana then what the hell have we been doing for the past what is it two months, if you haven't severed your bond then your still his mate"
"Look it's hard really hard I feel like once I let him go i can never feel that way towards him again and it's not that I want to trust me I don't, it just feels like I'll be losing a big part of me" He looks at me trying to possibly understand the gibberish I've been vomiting.
"But I think he's looking for me and if he finds out that I'm still pregnant he's gonna take my babies from me I cant let that happen, I promised to protect my babies and if he takes them I'll have no choice but to go back with him and I don't want that"
"Oh honey" Lexis walks over to me and engulfs me in a hug. "You guys aren't going anywhere okay I promised to protect you too I can't protect you if your always running at some point your going to have to stop your nomadic life style and let someone protect you I may not be Olivia Pope but baby I can suffice"
I look at him and laugh at his Olivia Pope reference he knows how much I love Scandal.
"Okay so what are we going to do about Christian he can't know that I'm me or all hell will definitely break loose."
"I'm going to let Alec help with that come on lets go"
"No no no don't think If forgot its your turn to explain what you meant by 'I cant lose you too' who else did you lose before me" His whole demeanor changes and I feel bad for bringing up parts of his past but I just did and he is going to have to as well.
"Umm Serena was my mate" I'm dumbfounded I just assumed he hasn't found his mate or something I don't know
"She was also pregnant after a few months of us being together, she was on her way to visit her parents in the states but she was killed in an automobile accident, I don't know if my child survived by the time we heard about ti savage wolves had started to feed on her body and most of her organs were either eaten or stolen I don't know but we heard about her accident one of our drivers also died in that crash as well, and my most trusted guard" As Lexis is reliving his past his face contorted in many different mournful expressions and may heart instantly goes out to him
"I'm sorry Lexis I know how it feels to lose someone you love" He kisses my forehead
"It's okay it happened two years ago it took me a long time to realize that she was gone that they were gone but things started looking brighter once I met you all of you including them" He rubs my belly and I smile I sit back down to finish my sub
"thanks babe that means a lot, to know that were wanted and appreciated thats very thoughtful of you, so what exactly is Alec going to do to help with the whole Christian situation I don't know although I don't think She's in right now"
I get up to put my plate away and yawn. I look at the stove and its nearly 4 in the morning.
"We should get some sleep and handle everything else tomorrow yeah ?"
"Sounds good I just want some sleep" We take the elevator off the kitchen to his floor and head do his bedroom. I change into my ensemble of a lace bra and boxer shorts, walk over to the mirror take my weekly picture then get into bed and the sleep fairy immediately catches my attention.
