her world was crushing ever so slowly in front of her, and all she could do was watch every piece of it without moving a finger.
her lips were shaking, her hair drying and the loose t-shirt she wore felt uncomfortable against her skin as it was also drying. she had been sitting there for too long—she witnessed her own clothes and hair getting drenched and drying up afterwards.
she ran her fingers through her knotted hair as a doleful sigh left her lips. she felt like crying, she felt like ripping off her own hair or even scratching off her skin.
and then he came towards her and bent down in front of her. she was too tired to lift her eyes up, but she saw him giving her a sincere, knowing smile.
he knew.
before he took her hand in his, he sat down next to her and they both watched last raindrops falling off a rooftop of an old small abandoned cottage behind the fence.
and her world was put back together all over again.
