About 10 minutes into our karaoke battle, I decide to get some water. I come back with 7 water bottles. I hand one out to each person. On my teams is Louis, and Zayn. Raina's team is Harry and Niall. Liam decided not to play so the teams are fair.
When I come back, Niall is finishing the end of his song. He hands me the mic and I nervously take it while standing up. I move to the front of the room and scroll through the songs. I decide on singing Wild Things by Alessia Cara.
"Find table space and say your social graces. Bow your head. The pie is here but
you and I we're pioneers. We make own rules, our own room. No bias here."
I start off nervously, not really comfortable with singing in front of other people. By the bridge of the song, I'm a little more comfortable.
"So aye (Aye!)
We brought our drum and this is how we dance.
No mistaken
We make our breaks
If you don't like our eight-O-eights then
Leave us alone cause we don't need your policies we
Have no apologies for being
FIND ME WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE!!"
I dance around having the most fun I've had in a while. I pull Raina up making her dance with me. Spinning in circles and dancing around, I start to get comfortable. I'm having so much fun. The nerves that I had previously tried to shake off finally go away. When I finish my song I had the mic to Harry giving him a look that says 'Beat that!'
Taking the mic from me, Harry goes up and chose a song. The music starts to play and I know it's The Fry.
After each of us taking a turn my stomach starts to growl. I look at everyone staring at me.
"What? I'm hungry!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, me too. How about we go out or something?" Louis suggested.
"No, don't you remember what happened last time?" Daddy direction says.
"Yeah, but it would be fun to show off our new friends," Harry wined.
"But we need to be careful-" Niall starts.
"Why don't you guys just live a little?" Zayn says chill in the corner of the couch.
"FINE! You guys can go out. I'm going to stay in and order room service. Have fun." Liam says going into the kitchen sulking.
"YAY!!" I shout victoriously.
"Let's go!" Harry says grabbing my hands and pulling me off into the hall everyone following behind.
