Chapter 2




Jongin and I sat on my couch in silence.

"I heard you're engaged,"he said 

"Yeah,"Then silence came again.

"How's Yuna?"I asked 

"I don't know I divorced her ,"he said 

"Why?"I asked 

"The baby isn't mine,"he answered 

"Told ya.."I mumbled 

"So who are you engaged to?"he asked 

"Erin,"I answered

"Erin! The guy who hurt you!"he yelled 

"Yeah,but he changed and I forgave him,"I said 

"So you forgive a guy like him,but not me?"he asked

"What do you mean?"I asked

"I'm a idiot for hurting you I know that now,but I didn't come back here cause of Yuna I came back to be with you,"He said 

"How do I know if it's true?"I asked

"What do you mean?"

"I'm not stupid Jongin everything is a cycle I forgive you then I end up hurt,"I said 

"So you forgive him,but not me ?"he asked

"I guess so,"I answered 

He crashed his lips with mine I didn't know what I was doing I didn't kiss back I couldn't.

"I love you,"he said 

I stared at him completely shocked from those words.

"No, please don't say that,"I said

"I really do,"he said and he caressed my cheek.

"After I said I do to Yuna I didn't want to say it cause I knew I felt different when I was with you,"he said

I felt a tear fall down my cheek.

"Why are you crying?"he asked 


I looked into his eyes.

"I can't be in love with you not again,"I answered

"Why?"he asked

I looked around the house.

"Cause I'm happy the way my life is,but I can't hurt anymore people just to be with you,"I said

He looked at me.

"You're such an idiot,"I said

He looked confused.

"Everytime,"I started

"Everytime,I said I had feelings for you. You pushed me away and I regret say it to you,"I said

"That's only because S-"I cut him off.

"Don't blame her,it wasn't her, you was just scared about how people would think,"I said

"I wasn't,"he said

"Jongin,"I said

"Okay, I was,but only because I never been in a interracial relationship,"he said

"Adalyn!"I heard Erin's voice.

"Why is he here?"Erin asked

I looked at the two glaring at each other.

"Uh, he just came to talk,"I said

"Really,"Erin said looking at me.

I got frightened and had sat on the couch.

"You can leave now,"Erin told Jongin.

Jongin sighed and left slamming the door.

I sighed and looked at the coffee table and the images of last year came back.

"Adalyn,"I looked up to see Erin he took my hand and soon led me to our bedroom.

"Why are you home early?"I asked

"Told the boss that I had emergency at home to take care of ,"he said

"And what was that?"I asked

"Pleasuring my soon to be wife,"He said with a wink.

"Oh really,"I said in a sexy tone.

I woke up to see it was seven in the afternoon and Erin was gone and I saw a note.

Sorry I left early :(

I had a dinner party meeting to go to. So be sure to enjoy the rest of the day without me.-Erin

I got up and went to bathroom and started the water in the tub and made a bubble bath filled with warm water.

I lied back against the tub and closed my eyes.

"Jongin,"I whispered

I was day dreaming,but the dream was Jongin and I.

"Jongin,"I whispered and let myself drift back to sleep.

"Adalyn,"he said

I was dreaming of his lips against mine and it was romantic yet lustful.

"Jongin,"I said finally realizing that I was in me bathroom.

As I cleaned up I went to the mirror and notice my smeared make up I washed my face and freshen up my body and got dress into my pajamas.

I soon went to go call Erin,but he didn't pick up.

By the fourteenth time I called he answered.

"Hello,"he said in a tired tone.

"Where are you I want to be with you?"I asked

"Uh, can we not talk right now I have a terrible headache and Ryland is driving me home,"he said

I wasn't the jealous type,but Ryland is the definition of Slut she fucked like twenty guys in one week.

"Uh,just get home okay I miss you,"I said

"Bye,"he said and hung up without saying I miss you.

"Fuck you too then,"I said 

I went downstairs and made me some instant noodles.

As soon as I was done eating I went to my room and slept.

Third POV:

Erin lied back against the Ryland's bed and she got on top of him then Adalyn called.

"Hello,"he answered pretending to sound tired.

"Where are you I want to be with you?" She asked

"Uh, can we not talk right now I have a terrible headache and Ryland is driving me home,"he said

"Uh,just get home okay I miss you,"Adalyn said 

"Bye,"Erin said and hung up when Ryland starting giving him a lovebite on his neck.

"Why are still with Adalyn?"Ryland asked 

"I don't know,"He said 

"Erin,I want you to be mine and mine only,"she said 

"You will be,just give me some time,"He said 

They both began to make out and soon they were getting a little too close.
