***** COMMENDATORY *****

And then the headteacher came back with a tall, medium physique, uniformed student holding freshly packed brand new clothes and a hardboard clipboard.

- So Simon, this is Chris, he's going to be your big brother at school from now. He's here to help you to fit in. He is going to provide the needed information about the school, rules and the uniform policy. Okay, I let you get to know each other, until then Mr. and Mrs. Slovak, may I speak with you outside of the classroom?

And then the adults all left the room.

-  Hello, I'm Chris Bernthal. -  said Chris offering his hand for handshake.

-  Hi, Simon Slovak. – said Simon and he shooked hands with Chris.

- I'm in year 10, a year above you. Bio-English class. As the headteacher said, I'm here to help you with anything around the school.  Now sorry for the hurry guy, but I'm having extra Psychology lesson in a 15 mins. Later in the afternoon I'm going to look you up, but now let's start with the most important things.

Chris kept a quite official manner, it was from his style,  for the very first time he was always like that with new people,  but by the time as they got closer and became friends, he turned out a lot more personal. Sometimes too personal...

Then he opened the pack of clothes and started to put them out on the desk. The clothes were all the same with the ones that Chris was wearing, so Simon knew, that is his school uniform.

- So... - started Chris – As you know this school is based on the English education system, so it's totally different from other schools. It follows from this that we must wear school uniform.  School colours are red and grey, that represents the school tie. As you can see, it's red with grey twin-stripes. Since this is your school tie, no other ties are permitted, not even on school ceremonies. By rule, 6 pair of stripes have to be shown below the knot, of course not when wearing the school jumper. But actually no one follows that. For the first days you better follow this rule, later if you wanna be cool, just tie it as you feel like, tie it short and fat, it's a kind of fashion here, just like at the schools in England.  Shirt is simple white, do not substitute with fashion or any other shirts. Your choice, as you see it can be short or long sleeve. Trousers: these grey always, or when permitted in heat, these plaid shorts.

Simon couldn't even say a word. When he moved to the city and applied to the school he would have never thought that he would have to face so many restrictions. Chris looked at his face then back on his clipboard smiling at his expression.

- Okay, let's continue with the knitwear.
