"You've got the world,

But baby at what price...

You're screwed up and brilliant,

And look like a million dollar man."

Lizzy woke up a few hours after midnight. Four in the morning, and she knew that everyone but the guards were asleep. The mansion would be deadly quiet, and the entrance doors inside would not have any guards...

Lizzy had woken up with stingy hair from the tears that had dried up. Her eyes were puffy and slightly red from crying. Her face, a complete mess, with mascara and eyeliner all over, lipstick smudged and splat onto her bed. She felt so gross and putdown. She had her dress on, even her heels and jewelry. Her head ached from the hairdo she had forgotten to undo.

She closed the bathroom door behind her. Falling to the ground, she slid against the door and sobbed fiercely again.

"What did I ever do to deserve terrible luck!" She asked herself. "...Nothing-I didn't do any good either. I've been locked up in this mansion. I haven't proven anyone of myself." She groaned and cried.

Lizzy got in her shower, ignoring the large rocky tub filled with rose water and petals just across from it. As much as she wanted to relax, it would just mean giving up and forgetting. Walking past the bath, and inhaled the steamy lavender mixing with the delicate roses.

I'm really going to miss this place, she said to herself.

Lizzy spent a good amount of time in the shower, contemplating wether or not she would go with the plan she had thought of the moment she woke up-she wanted to run away. To the outside world, where she would make a life out of her own self. In the beginning, she thought she had gone mad herself, that the plan was out of anger towards her father after he refused to let her go. No-it was much more than that. She wanted to prove to him that not only is she responsible and capable of taking care of herself, but to prove him wrong.

After she got out of the shower, she wrapped her hair in a towel and looked at herself in the mirror. She was refreshed, her olive skin glowing and her mysterious blue eyes looking emotionless as always. She had more confidence than ever-and more thoughts of running away now.

She went inside her walk in closet. She looked at the many things she had owned now. She took a fresh change of clothes but stopped. She could run away-tonight! With the new idea sparking in her mind, she quickly changed and dried her hair. She took out a black duffel bag, stuffing as may clothes, as well as shoes in it.

Lizzy didn't know why she ever thought of running away. But she felt as if she had to. Her heart was leading her to a whole new world! She grew tired of walking around the mansion she covered every inch of many years ago. Just the thought of her large mansion being a tiny speck in earth enthralled her more about the outside.

Once she was done packing, she looked at herself, comparing her ways to the outside. She wondered who most people would dress daily, what they would do. She knew that she had to get a job in order to maintain an okay lifestyle. She hadn't put much thought of finding a place to live, but she said to herself that it wouldn't be too hard to find one.

With a deep breath, she almost bolted out the door.

I have no money at all, not a single penny. She sighed. Parents always give their children some money to start off their new lives, right?

Without a doubt, Lizzy knew her father would never give her money to go run away from him and into the forbidden place he deeply wanted his daughter not to be! She had an idea. Perhaps, there was another way to get her hands in her fathers money.
