"Hello?"
“Hey Caroline it's Olly.”
"Olly! How's America?
"It's great. I'm surprised by how many fans I have here."
"Aw come on, you're much more popular than you think.”
“Haha thanks. Hey the reason why I’m calling is because some of the lads showed me this thing called tumblr"
Caroline interrupted Olly, "You couldn’t call just to say hello?"
"We'll that too, but have you heard of it?"
"I have but I've never been on it. Why?"
"Well basically there's this carolly tag, you know the name the fans came up for the two of us, anyway there's this whole community based around them thinking or wanting us to be a couple."
"Really?"
"Yeah they all seem to know each other, and it looks like some of them are friends, all because of us."
"How weird is that?"
"I know. I never thought our friendship would lead to fans befriending each other. Hey sorry Sarah is calling me, I have to go to an interview now. I'll call you later."
"Ok. Bye Ols."
*Weeks Later *
“Ols?
“Caroline, are you alright?”
“Yeah are you?”
“Yeah.”
“What’s going on?”
“I’ve been looking more at the carolly tag on tumblr, Ols its like they’ve documented all of our interactions, since before we even met. Ever picture, every interview, every tweet, even back to the ones I tweeted about you when you were on X Factor. They don’t miss one thing. Some even write stories about us."
“Caroline, don’t read those.”
“Why not? They’re about me. I should have the right to read them.”
“Just be careful Cazza.”
“What’s the worse thing that could happen?”
Late that evening Olly woke up to his phone ringing, he answered it only because he saw Caroline’s name flash across the screen, and knew she would only call if it was important.
“Caz why are you calling me so” he stopped when he heard her crying on the other end of the line.
“Caroline what’s wrong? What’s happened?”
Olly couldn’t understand everything Caroline said through her sobbing, he did manage to something like, “O-Olly. You lo.. me. But ... died.. And.. and… baby.”
“Ok Caroline just stay where you are. I’ll be right over.” He was extremely confused about what was going on, but knew he had to get to Caroline as soon as possible.
Olly grabbed his keys and drove to Caroline’s as fast as he could. Caroline opened the door for him before he had the chance to knock, and as soon as he stepped inside Olly opened his arms to hold a sobbing Caroline. She wrapped her arms around him and held onto him like she was afraid to let go. He held her in the doorway for a few minutes before realizing that she wasn’t going to move, so he picked her up and carried her to the couch. Olly sat Caroline down in his lap and continued to hold her while she cried into his shirt. Trying to have her explain now would be worthless since she was crying so hard, so he sat there and stroked her hair telling her everything was going to be ok until the sobs turned into quiet tears.
