"Hey i love this flavor! Birthday cake!"
I raise my eyebrows hoping bruno gets the hint. Brunos jaw drops and realizes that today is my birthday.
"Oh my god Jaime!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" he says while giving me a big bear hug.
"Im so sorry i forgot!!! i thought it was next week but i guess i was wrong!!! im such a jerk! Please forgive me!" he says with a poutey face
I cant resist but laugh! "Hahaha! its ok bruno!"
"Yay!!!" he says childish which i find super cute!
"So...the big 18...what are you planning on doing tonight pretty little lady?" i start to blush.
"Nothing i guess." i laugh alittle.
"Well then, today is your lucky day...im taking you out tonight. what do u say? nevermind cuz im not taking no as an answer. Tonight, me and you, 8 o'clock, nice restaurant, meet me in the living room by 730..k?"
"Sure!" i say excitedly. i never really celebrated my birthday before with someone.
"ok well imma go upstairs and get ready for our date...or i mean..nevermind." he says quickly and then leaves upstairs quickly.
What was that about? i mean we only kissed once but....nevermind. Oh well.
I begin to look around my closet and notice i dont have anything nice to wear. I then remembered i brought some cash with me. i check my bookbag and noticed i only had $150. i guess ill go shopping.
I get dressed and go upstairs to see Bruno sleeping on the couch. I dont wanna wake him so i walk as quietly as possible, but as i reach for the door knob to go outside i hear bruno.
"Where do you think your going?" he says.
"Oh my god bruno! you scared me! and im going shopping."
"Ok. Do you even have money? or a ride?" he asks.
"I have $150 and i was gonna go walking."
"Are you kidding me? $150? all you can buy with that is like a pack of gum!" he say sarcasticlly which make me and him laugh.
"And your gonna walk in the streets by yourself!!! um, i dont think so hun!! ill take you."
"Its ok bruno, just go back to sleep. you seem tired."
"No no no. Ill take you. Theres no problem."
"ok."

Were done shopping around, so we decided to go home. The car ride was mostly bruno singing. He had the most amazing voice ever!
We were finally home. I set down all my shopping bags on the couch.
"Thank you so much Bruno. I promise i will pay you back every penny!"
"No, no no. I don't think so. It's a present from me to you. Ok?"
"Nope! just wait til i get a job and i will pay you back."
"No! I will not accept it!" After our mini fight i look at time and it's 6 o'clock. Wait...6 O'CLOCK! i got to get ready!
