Dear Love,
I flipped on the news
yet again
and I saw a veteran
that was homeless
that had to beg for his food.
What is wrong with this picture?
Why are our veterans made to starve
and be homeless
after giving all they had for us?
Why is no one helping them?
and why are the few that are
not getting anywhere?
Our soldiers are given up on
our people are enslaved
and those that aren't are killed
what is our world coming to my love?
Why has everyone given up?
Why has no one noticed?
That's right
no one can
because the corporations
put a block on what we know
and no one cares
because at least they don't have to make the decisions.
Dear Love
why has everyone given up already
there is still a war to fight
and a war to win
but no one will take the chance.
