*Authors note* The picture at the top is of Kian Lawley (In case you don't know who he is) and he's the boy in this chapter. I know he's not really 17 that's just how old I wanted him to be in this story. Anyways hope you like it!!!

My eyes slowly peeled open, revealing a plain white hospital room. I slowly turned and scanned the room for my father, being careful not to wake Lily, who was currently curled up by my side. My eyes focused on my fathers blurry figure leaning against the door, I couldn't make out who he was talking to as the blinds were shut and the voice filling the room was beautiful yet unfamiliar. Part of me hoped it was that boy, the one who caught me when I fell, but I knew that wasn't the case. I mean it couldn't be, right? He didn't even know my name, he didn't care, he just happened to be there. I pushed the thoughts away assuming he was just chatting with a doctor or something. I shifted my focus to the wires and IVs that were attached me, listening to the slow steady rhythm of my heart rate monitor repeat itself over and over.

After visiting hours were over, my dad took Lily home as the hospital wanted to keep me over night for observation. I didn't get much sleep that night, the memories and flashbacks of my mother flooded my memory. Every fight, every laughing fit, every time she held me after I had my heartbroken, everything.. At around 5 visiting hours opened up again and there was a quiet knock at my door, the nurse slowly opened the door and told me there was a boy here to see me, confused, I told her to let him in expecting it to have just been a weird way to tell me my father had arrived. A few seconds later the door opened again, and a boy about my age slid through. I looked up, taking in his appearance, he was wearing a burgundy hoodie, black skinny jeans with black Allstar converse, and once again, his dreamy chocolate brown eyes met my dull green ones as he awkwardly muttered "Hey" looking at the cracked tile floor. "I uh just wanted to make sure you were okay, from yesterday" he continued. I proceeded to tell him I was fine, and thanked him. After a while of quiet exchanges he pointed at the door and said "Should I um go?" I smiled at his shyness and shook my head, scooting over and patting the space beside me, motioning him to come sit. His face lights up as he strides over to my bedside, we chatted, laughed, messed about, and watched Sherlock for what felt like hours. I soon became aware of how perfect he was, his flawless complexion and chiseled jaw line, the way he ran his hands through his hair, he was very attractive. Besides he had one of those laughs, the ones where their whole face lights up, and seeing them being genuinely happy, makes you happy.

We were lying side by side surfing through channels trying to find something interesting to watch when he must've felt me shivering because he sat up, reached behind his neck grabbed his hoodie and began pulling it over his head, his black Jack Daniels shirt sliding up as well, revealing his abs. He tossed me the hoodie and waited for me to put it on before smoothly wrapping his arm around me and laying down again, I breathed in the scent of his cologne as I sunk further into his embrace smiling to myself. I reached around for my phone and realized I had a few messages from my dad, I opened them just to find out he wasn't coming to pick me up today, that he got called in for work. Typical. I pushed it aside, I can spend more time with Kian then I thought to myself.

Hey guys, sorry if this chapter isn't great, I've been having writers block and probably deleted and rewrote this chapter at least 20 times.
