Before long, The entire palace had been filled with yellow sulfur colored gas. Every single lower ranked knight was  suddenly finding themselves at the same level as an average super human..

 And considering Narina and Nue weren't average in comparison to normal Superhumans, that meant they were child's play to the two of them..

Narina and Nue dashed through the castle passages, leading the charge as they both pounded and slammed Knights out of the way.

Nue using a black furred panther neko form, allowing her to agiley sneak through the palace and knock out guards before they could even flinch, and Narina using metal arms to knock the guards out quickly.

Behind them, swarms of massive shadowy tentacles whipped out and slammed other random guards to the ground, Violet's power overwhelming her inferior opponents.

"Remember!" said Merlin as he followed close behind. "The Knights are weakened, but their powers aren't negated, we've merely been given a fighting chance, and the more powerful veteran Knights are still powerful enough to put on a very decent fight.. DON'T drop your guard."

"Sure. As long as you know where we're going!" Narina exclaimed.

"We're headed to the Shuttle Terminals below." said Nue. "Nyan... we should be able to get out of here despite the altitude Nyan..

"Good!" said Narina as she used a metal fist to punch another guard. "Cause I'm honestly getting tired here! I need a nap and a large plate of steak!"

Violet smiled as she followed close behind. Leave it to Narina to joke around even in a heated situation.

The group suddenly made it into a massive ballroom...

It was beautiful for a dance room in any case.. the very walls were decorated with stone dragons, and the floor was pure marble.. and the chandeliers above were alit with beautifully carved candle holders.

"Hold it!!!" Narina skidded to a halt and held out an arm for everyone else to do the same. "Oh crap no..."

Plum was standing before them.. her hair messed up, her eyes livid.

"You stupid little bitch.. you didn't actually think you'd get away did you!? After that light tap!?"

"You.. HOW!?" Narina stammered.

"She's a former Elite Knight.. even weakened, she's still unusually powerful." said Merlin.

Narina clenched her fists. "Alright then!! I'll just have to beat her HARDER!!!"

"Zanzabar.. Code 3.." said Plum

Narina, suddenly felt a massive surge within her.. it was fear..  unexplainable fear.. and not just that.. pain.. extreme mental pain.

She fell to her knees, screaming, clutching her head, feeling as if it were going to split open.

"Now now.. you didn't think I wouldn't think of some way to make you a proper lady.. in case it was too difficult.. did you?" said Plum with a laugh.

"NARINA!!" Nue grabbed Narina in her soft paws. "Y-YOU! You used a Psychological Impairment! You MONSTER! That's only allowed on Criminals of the Kingdom!!! You've violated over 50 of Father's laws!!"

Violet, who looked stunned stammered. "Ps-psychological.. impairment?"

"An interrogation technique that wasn't used since the wars.." said Merlin. "By slowly monitoring and training a human's behavior, you can encode certain code words into their brain using suggestive psychological games, and then without that human knowing it.. have them succumb to your will with a single code word.. have them experience pain, terror, submissiveness.. it was a technique used to program Sleeper Agents... "
