It only took a few short minutes to fly the Thunderbird down to earth..  and throughout that time.. Narina couldn't help but feel a massive sense of relief.

Never again would she have to listen to Plum's voice..

Never again would she have to wear those awfully restrictive dresses

And maybe finally she could head home, and start preparing for the school semester.

But of course that would have to wait. She had a promise to keep to Merlin and the Silent Circle..

As Narina sat silently in her seat within the aircraft, Sandy stole several glances at her.

"Y-you know.." said Sandy. "I'm a huge fan.. of you I mean. You're the first one to actually force the school board to create a Fourth Emperor position.."

"Don't know why they did that.." Narina said, blushing. "I'm not that powerful.."

"It actually isn't that confusing." said Violet easily. "Narina is around my equal in strength, which makes her Zanna's equal as well.."

"Wait.. you're NOT stronger than Zanna!?" said Narina with astonishment. "But.. she said the Emperors were a Tier above her!"

"That's right.. Zanna enlisted you in her little quest to defeat Reaper right?" said Violet with a concerned frown. "She.. does care about your well being.. I have no doubt.. but.. there are plenty of things she hides.. she's not a trusting person.. if she was different, she would be competing with us for a spot in the Emperors.. but.. "

Violet shook her head. "They say I'm the devious manipulative one in the Student Council.. but trust me.. Zanna can be FAR more cunning than me.. given she has the right motivation.. she means well.. but be careful when involved in her games.."

"A year ago.. I would tell you to shut up out of a pure crush.." said Narina. "But now.. my how I've changed.."

"Well duh.. you have breasts.. mmm.." said Nue.. "Speaking of which... "

"PLOP!" Nue's face went straight into Narina's chest. "Smells... like... roses.."

Narina sighed. "And.. things return to a degree of normalcy... well, as normal as it could ever be for a genderbent electric girl, a princess, and a shadow demon.."

"It's like the Wizard of Oz, only weirder." said Violet casually. "Hmhmm.. I'll miss you most of all Scarecrow.."

"So.. where are we going?" Narina asked. "Merlin? You said you were going to show us the true world under the king.. "

"The destination is simple.. anywhere outside Varus City.." said Merlin. "Anywhere outside that soft comfortable cocoon that you grew up in.. And we must do it quietly..  Once the Knights return to full strength, they'll be out for us..

"That Horizon Negation element we made.." said Nue. "Don't we have more of it mmm?"

"The supply we made can be replicated, but for now, it's limited." said Merlin. "I'd prefer we don't waste too much of it."

"Is there ANYBODY alive who can match a Knight?" Narina muttered.

"Actually yes." said Violet. "The strongest of us Emperors.. Reaper. He is known as possibly the Strongest Person in the world."

"Reaper?" Narina said. "The guy me and Zanna are trying to beat? He's that powerful?"

"He has the ability to control, negate and manipulate pure kinetic energy." said Violet. "There are very few things he can't do with that kind of ability..  He can even destroy the energy from Star Blades, allowing him to go toe to toe with Knights... at least.. that's the rumor.. I wouldn't dare fight him if I could help it.. he's like the real world version of Saitama."
