Alpheus was a warrior and he couldn't just stay there and continuing his life, he was determined to save Oceania, after all this time he still feel that he belongs under the sea and he wanted to save his home. But how could he do that while he was incapable to become a merman again?, he sit and thought to that matter days and days until his father's words came up in his mind:
" -Stay invisible for pirates, people say that they are the ones to killed all the mermaids my boy.
-What are the mermaids father?
-You don't need to know son, they don't exist anymore"

Alpheus was young when he ever heard about that and he never asked again, his father was his role model and he always obeyed to his words, Alpheus remembered also a short scene when his father was talking with the great consil and they said:

"-They don't need to know, mermaids is a closed chapter in waters history, it is dangerous just to talk about them so, who ever tries to tell anyone about them it will be exiled."

I wish that they had another thoughts about that, things would be better now if we would knew anything about mermaids, and also about their conception. Said Alpheus in his mind.

Now he raised up more convinced than ever and ghetered all the mermans from the land.

-My beloved brothers, hard times came to our kingdom, even if we don't live there anymore, it's still our home and we have to take it back and protect it, no one ever told us about mermaids, we just know that they are dangerous, unfortunately we all know that we can't go back and take what is ours but..we have a weapon.

Everyone watched him suspicious.

-My boys, we have..pirates.

All mans from there gasped surprised, some of them were scared, others were worried.

-Alpheus, pirates are dangerous, they can kill us too, remember what uncle Agual said about them?

-I know what my father said, Caspian, Alpheus spoked.
But this is our last chance, we have to make a deal with them, we have to find the greatest one, and pay him good.

-But sir, we don't know any pirates, they don't live around people like normal fishermans, how we will find some and more, how we will convince them to work for us?

- Who are you, young man? Alpheus asked curious

-I am Fin sir, my father was in the great consil next to your's.

-Yeah, I remember you'r father good, I guess you'll have to clean his mess my boy. You will come to me tomorrow morning at the deck, you can bring with you another two trust friends of you, and we will solve that problem.

-But how can we trust them? What if they will wanna kill us all? Alpheus, you really think that this is a good idea?

-Caspian, it's the only thing we can do, we have to take that risk, anyway we are a lot more than them, we can win a battle without struggle.

- I wish we could defeat those bloody mermaids without any help.

-I know Caspian, me too.

Alpheus looked worse than ever, his thoughts were killing him inside and he has to win his inner battle before he can win the one against mermaids.

-Good, I think that things are clear gentlemans, have anyone an objection to do?

An older man came further with his head down.

-Sir, I wanna ask you just one thing, have mercy of our daughters, they are still our childs.

-Are you crazy old man? There is not you daughter anymore, it's Elizi's daughter, said another man.
