I'm Yours 3 The Final Dream

A Happy Reunion

Ash's POV

After I was finished training with my Pokemon, I entered the house to see Serena sleeping peacefully on the sofa. I smiled at the sight and went up to her and kissed her forehead and said "You're as beautiful as ever"

I went to my room and changed my clothes, but then my phone rang. I answered it, and it was Gary.

"Hey Ashy boy!" He greeted "Don't call me that" I pouted, but he couldn't see it because we where talking on the phone. "How are you and your girlfriend doing?" He asked "We doing great! What about you?" I said "I'm fine and so are the others" I raised my eyebrow from the words "others".

Then it hit me, Gary and the others promised that we will do a reunion this week, and it completely slipped out of my mind tat it was today! How could I forget such an event? Did Serena know about this? Or did she also forget?

"Anyway, we were planning on visiting you guys around 5 p.m. is that ok?" He asked "Sure! Can't wait to see you guys! Just tell the girls to not over squeeze Serena when they hug her. The last time they hugged her Serena couldn't breathe and almost fainted" I chuckled and so did Gary from my comment.

"Sure, but you know. Having such a beautiful and badass girlfriend can have fans, especially when that girl is the Kalos Queen" He pointed out "I know, but Serena loves her fans and us. She won't complain about it even if it kills her" I could feel Serena sweatdropped, but I know she was asleep so I was taking that chance.

"Yeah, she is..anyway gotta go see ya!" I ended the call and went back to the living room and saw Serena still sleeping, and I thought she heard me.

I sat down and laid her head on my lap and I stroked her hair, she still had her short hair. Well, a month ago she decided to cut it like the way it used to because she preferred the way she looked during our travels.

Every region I tried to challenged would always end me up failing, but when I met Serena and lost the Kalos league she made me even more determined to try again. And I did, I managed to be the Kanto league and it was all thanks to her that I did.

4 years ago, an incident happened and she was involved in it. She got controlled yet again by her dark emotion, but managed to fight it. And now here we are having a happy life. The life we deserve after such a battle.

I slightly pinched her left cheek and she began to wake up. She slowly opened my eyes to see me smiling down at her "Had a good sleep?" She smiled at me and placed both of her hand on my cheeks. "Yes I did Ashy, and it was all because of you" She leaned closer and kissed me. After she pulled away, I could see something in her eyes. It was saying like she had a dream. A dream that she truly desired to achieve. What could that be?

"So, what time do you think the others wouod be here?" She asked "Oh! Gary called me a minute ago and said around 5 I think" I replied, she got up from the sofa and sat right next to me leaning her head against my left shoulder.

"I can't wait to see them again" she whispered "Yeah, me too. Been 4 years right?" She replied by nodding "Think they will give me a bear hug again?" I chuckled from her question "Trust me, Dawn and the others would immediately give you the most tightest and biggest bear hug they could ever muster in their life when it comes to you" Serena slightly giggled and looked from me to the window that was reflecting a beautiful light.

"Hey Ash?"

"Hmm?"

"What is your goal right now?" She asked, I raised an eyebrow at her. She looked at me and sighed "You know, what's your next dream? You defeated this league, why not the other leagues that you have competed" she pointed out "Well, I would like that, but I don't know. I guess I would like to be this region's champion for awhle" I said, she does have a point. But looking at my future right now seems too blurry, I don't know what to do next yet, but I guess Serena already has one thing in mind.

"What about you Sere-" I was cut off when the doorbell rang, Serena stood up and walked to the door to open it. Once she opened it, Dawn and the rest of the girls pounced at her into a bear hug.

"SERENA WE MISS YOU!!! OUR KALOS QUEEN!! OUR OTP!! WE MISS YOU!!" Serena and I both sweatdropped, or Serena tried to sweatdropped but it was too hard for her because she was having trouble breathing.

"Hey guys, I think Serena is dying" I said while pointing at the poor girl who was turning blue, Dawn and the others immediately let go and Serena panted like crazy for air.

"N-Nice to see you guys" Serena said while trying to steady her breathing, Gary and the boys walked up to me and we all fist bumped.

"How ya been Gary?" I asked "Like I said, I've been awesome!" He exclaimed, I looked back at Serena who was already chatting away with the girls.

So hey! Why not enjoy this day? After all, it's our reunion! I'm happy and I know everyone is too, after all we had such a battle 4 years ago. We all deserve this, especially Serena.

We deserve this reunion and forget about problems for awhile. I'll eventually find another goal besides being the champion, and I know it.

???'s POV

What this? I feel people reuniting after a hard heart breaking battle that occured years ago feeling happy and free. And what's this? The all have dreams...pathetic.

Dreams are nothing but a distraction to reality, and that's reality. Dreams can never be achieve even how hard you try.

Why I'm thinking on visiting this group of friends, and I feel one of them have darkness contained in their soul.
