next week, jungkook asks one of his classmates why everyone is against her.
the boy snarls, "her father is a murderer. he's in jail."
jungkook is confused, "then why do you hate her?"
the boy looks at him, surprised, "because she's the daughter! what if she turns out like him?"
jungkook shakes his head, "ignorant asses," he whispers.
he grins at the boy, "but, don't you think," he smiles as he leans in for a whisper, "that gives you all the reasons to be nice to her? so she doesn't kill you."
the boy is speechless for a second but he smiles, surprising jungkook, "no."
