It started in ninth grade because I got to know her well. I were suddenly struck with the realization of how her eyes lit up when she got happy and how she looked when she were focused. She were beautiful. She cut her hair shorter after I did. She were beautiful. She cut her hair even shorter and most of us saw it for the first time at prom. Beside her date with that dress and that smile, she were beautiful. I could repeat it forever that night. But I had gone with my friends. With the grey hat with diamond emblems I gave her for Christmas, she looked beautiful. As ninth grade continued, she were beautiful. When I saw how excited she were with her newfound spirit for drawing, she were beautiful.
