Casey's pov

I really want to be friends with vici again. I changed. I saw the love in our alphas eyes whenever he would talk about her.

My train of thoughts was interrupted when I bumped into some one. I felt sparks and looked up to see.

the new alpha of the blood howlers. he was assigned after the death of alpha greir. And apparently I'm his mate.

" mate " he said lovingly. I love him too but I don't deserve him. I am an awful person and he is loving and caring .

I heard a growl and realized what I just did. I shouted at an alpha it's like signing your own death wish.

I carefully raised my head to see that his eyes are black. " you dare raise your voice on me " he raised his hand. I close my eyes waiting for the hit but never came.

I look to find the he and vici are fighting in the corner. I perked my ears to listen.

" she's your mate you can't hit her"

" she raised her voice on me vici"
" she said she's sorry that she's a disappointment as a mate. You left every single word she said. From I love you to the part were she thinks she's a slut. You just concentrated on the fact that her voice has rose from frustration "

" I'm sorry your right " he said sadly and hung he's head low. I wanted to comfort him badly. I ran into his arms and on to him tightly. At first he was confused but then hugged me tightly.

He brought me to look at him and a seconds I felt his soft lips on mine. At that moment I didn't care that were in the middle of the pack house or that he was about to hit me. That moment was perfect it was my first real kiss.

Victoria's pov

I left the two love birds alone to continue there make out session. I decided to forgive her. I heard every thing but I only interrupted when he was about to hit her.

I was making cookies in the kitchen.
When somebody hugged me from behind I stiffened but then relaxed when I smelled him.
