Chapter 2 ⭐️
Jungkook didn't get any sleep at because because he was nervous . He will be going to a new school today .
His big brother, Jongki can tell his little brother was nervous but he doesn't want to say anything because he knew it will embarrass him .
Jungkook noticed that it was still early to go to school but he decided to go early so he can checkout how the school looks like. He kissed his parents and bid goodbye before heading out.
" I'm going out now , goodbye " ,
On the same morning too , his mother wanted to follow just to see if he's alright but he assured her that she doesn't need to go. His mother nodded and plastered a beautiful smile to her son before she gave a peck on the cheeks.
As he was walking to school , it suddenly started to rain . Good thing he kept an umbrella in his bag . While he was walking he suddenly thought about his childhood friend, Taehyung.
Jungkook hopes that Taehyung will be in that school too as he misses him so much but he doesn't want to have his hopes high .
When he arrived at his school , he noticed couple of people were staring at him . He could hear some whispers around him . He didn't really care about peoples impression of him being the new kid but this time , he did . He kept a calm expression and even smile to some students that were voluntarily smiled back.
He only has 30 minutes to go to the teachers room to meet his class teacher so he waited near the schools garden and listen to some songs on his phone. Even if there was still some raindrops coming from the sky , he didn't mind it at all . He love the rain as it was calm and soothing to him
Few minutes later , the bell rang . He didn't realised he was late to meet the teacher so he went straight to the his classroom at the classroom was on the 2nd floor .
His luck was on his side today . His homeroom teacher was about to open the classroom door. He turned to his side and was shocked to see Jungkook running towards him .
Jungkook kept apologising to his teacher for being late to his class especially since its his first day of being here. "Mr Youngjae , I am very sorry for being late for class . "
Mr Youngjae assured him that he wasn't mad at him. "It's fine Jungkook . As long you came then it's fine for me ".
Jungkook felt grateful to have Mr Youngjae as his teacher especially as his music teacher. Jungkook has a passion for music and for Mr Youngjae to be his teacher , he was happy .
Jungkook followed Mr Youngjae to the classroom and stand next to him . Jungkook kept his head down because he doesn't like being stared at closely.
As usual there will be people whispering about the new student . Jungkook was always curious by their impressions of him. Does he look weird to them but one thing for sure is that he didn't really care .
"Jungkook , would you like go introduce yourself to the class" Mr Youngjae pulled me a little to the front of the classroom to make the students see him better .
Jungkook nodded . He took a a deep breathe before he introduces himself " Hello , my name is Jeon Jungkook but u can call me Jungkook " he smiled innocently with his big doe eyes
While the teacher was telling the students about him , he was looking around or scanning the students in the classroom .
His eyes were suddenly caught by this one boy who looks familiar to him . He didn't want his eyes playing tricks on him thinking it was Taehyung.
He was right .It was him, his childhood friend or more to his first love actually . He couldn't control his smile because was happy to see him after six years of being separated and he looks more handsome or preferably prettier .
( Just to clear things up if you read from the comments, there was a mixed up between six and twelve years different. Chapter 2 was the original chapter while chapter one was a complete rewrite so that's why there's a mixed up between the year gap . )
The teacher told him that he will be sitting next to Taehyung . He was more nervous thinking about talking to him . The latter nodded to teacher . Before he went to his seat , the teacher gave him his class schedule and some papers about this weeks topic.
Once he sat in his seat and put the papers out of his way , he started to make a conversation with him .
" Hi , I'm Jungkook " . He was hoping it didn't come out as weird greet.
" Oh h-hi I'm Taehyung and I know you actually" It was cute that he stutter but the main point is that he remembers or he would say knows me . " You do " Jungkook looks at him excitingly . Taehyung noticed Jungkook's eyes were sparkling when he looks at him .
" Yes Jungkook , we're childhood friends of course I remember " Taehyung smiled at him . Jungkook was captivated by his boxy smile that he used and still love .
" Well Taehyung we're gonna be classmates for the next 2 years so hope we can help each other out and I can't wait to catch up with you "
Jungkook looks at him calmly but on the inside , he was a messed because Taehyung remembers him . Taehyung just nodded and smile at him before going back to the book he was reading .
Jungkook didn't noticed Taehyungs cheeks were crimson red because Taehyung covered his face with the book he was reading . At that moment Taehyung also realised that his feelings towards Jungkook might be more than feelings towards a friend .
