CHAPTER 7

Dec. 30, he arrived in the Philippines together with his band mates.

He's not sure but, maybe taht will be the last time that they'll be performing together. His mates were all tied down and ready to settle down. Siya na nga lang ata ang napag-iiwanan.

"Yo men. Hurry, we have to take a rest." Rick Clain, theirguitarist instructed while putting their baggage on a black escapade van, that is waiting for them in the airport.

"Where are we staying by the way?" Lendi his co-vocalist ask with a slight chinese accent looking at him.

He shrugs. He doesn't care. For infact. He doesn't want to be here in the first place.

"Lendi, that guy is bitter ya know." The blonde tall man, John Lope, their base guitar commented.

He smirked.

Whatdo you guys know? inside him commented.

He put His baggage on top of Syds' baggage.

"Why are we here in the first place?" he asked, forehea knotted.

"Because of your girlfriend." Syd answered.

He darted a sharp look to the guy who's sitting now inside the van.

"Why are you so intense Daniel? We just also want to have a vacation. In fact, LA is your girlFriend in reality, so what's your problem with that?" John answered straightforward.

"She is not my girl friend." he firmly said.

His band mates looked at each other. Giving glances to stop the argument.

But Clain whose at the back of the van organizing their baggages came into his view."Then what is she? Your boyfriend? You know Daniel, we don't have any malice when we say your girlfriend. We know that both of you doesn't have a relationship. But what do you call a girl that is your friend? Isn't it girlfriend? You know, why don't you cool down, and just relax?" Clain explained, emphasizing the word friend.

Then Clain reach for his pocket , get his phone and dial.

"Hi. We arrived and ready to go. Does the driver know where will he bring us?" Clain talk with the person in the line.

He has a hunch, that LA is on the line. He sighed aloud. And walk to seat on the passengers seat in front.

His friends were right. Why is he so intense?

argh! LA, why are you doing this to me?

"Rye?who.. a you mean Daniel?" he heard Clain mention his name that makes  him stop walking for a while to open the door.

"Yes. He's here."

Clain look at him.

He open the passengers door and ignore Clain.

Wala naman siyang sama ng loob kay LA. But he's just against about his guesting in their performance. He knows LA very well, and he had a bad hunch in that performance.

Hindi naman talaga siya sasama sa mga kabanda niya sa pag-uwi ng Pilipinas, but he can't just ignore his parents.

Pinagpipilitan ng mga ito na umuwi ng Pilipinas, para na din katagpuin daw ang babaeng pakakasalan niya.

He gritted his teeth, when he remembered what his mother told him before leaving.

"Your friend LA know who's your fiancee, we told her. In fact, it's LA's friend."

What the? Why does his parents told LA that? Why do they have to interfere?

He smirked on his conclusions.
