Silently Crying Out For Help

chapter one

Hi my name is Lucy and you guessed it I'm in an adoption center you're so smart. it just me and my dog Lucky right now I'm getting dressed to go to the Library.

When I'm ready I get my jacket and me and Lucky's out the door, when I got there I went straight to the mystery books. I love these because it make me think. I say 'hi' to Miss Mitchell the librarian. "Hey there Lucy how are you today " she said "good " I said with a smile.

When we leave i start to read one of the book I got. we got back to the hell I call home, I sat on the bench outside and continue reading my book.

" Lucy come here we have some people coming." I sign and got up "come on Lucky " you see we have floors the 1st floor Is 1 - 5 the 2nd floor is 6 - 9 the 3rd floor is 10 - 14 and the 4th floor is 15 - 18 and no one comes to the 4th floor and if you don't know I'm 17.

I push up my glasses and when to the 4th floor I sit in the corner and start reading my book again Lucky comes over and lay on my lap.

A couple minutes later the door opens and I'm surprised to see a couple walks in.

They start to look at all the kids. I go back to my book but was interrupted for the second time today by someone talking to me " hi there what's your name?" a lady said she have short blonde hair and brown eyes she has a long blue dress on with snowflakes at the bottom and top" Lucy and this is Lucky" I said with no emotions and Turn the Page in my book " will I'm Kate and that's my husband Mike." I look up to see a men talking to some kid. He has short Burnett hair and blue eyes with a black shirts and jeans.

I look back at my book and continue reading. "What do you like?" She said I stop read and looked at her " I like playing guitar, drawing, painting, and reading." I looked back to my book and start reading.

"What going on here" I looked up to see Mike "mike this is Lucy and Lucky "she said "hi" he said "hey" was my reply she start to tell him what I told her. Once again I look back at my book and started reading and once again I was interrupted " Lucy would you like to come home with us" said Kate "sure its not like I can say no" and with that they went to talk to the people that work here.

Then they said they'll be back in a couple days.

A couple days later, (sorry I don't feel like writing all of that)

I'm all packed and ready to go. I'm in the car with Lucky on my lap.

When we get there mike grab my luggage. I see a boy and two kids on the porch. I get out the car but keep the door open "come on Lucky " I said and she jump out the car. Kate come next to me and we walk up to the boy and kids.

"Lucy this is my son Jacob and the twins Jamie and James" the twins look up to the sound of their names "hi" the boy said "hey",the twins are a girl and a boy they have short brunette hair with brown eyes. Jacob have short blonde hair with blue eyes"dog"
Jamie said and they ran up to Lucky "is it nice" she said I bend down and said "yes she is and her name is Lucky, Lucky sit" I command the Husky.

"come on I'll show you your room" mike said I did as he said and follow him in the house Lucky right behind me. we went up the stairs into the second door on the right. he open the door and I look In aww.

The room was big the walls were white it had a big closet, a bathroom, a bookshelf on the left side of the bed and a bedside table next to the bed. it had a dresser on the right side of the bed. A long dresser with a mirror on top next to it was a laptop and a desk with a rolling chair and next to that was a garbage Ben. above the window was a flat screen TV.

"you like it" kate said "its cool" I said with no emotions "okay we will let you get unpacked and I'll start dinner in 20 minutes." She adds "okay" and with that they left and I start unpacking. when I was done dinner was ready, I went down to get lucky some food and after that I want to table. dinner was kind of awkward since every conversation they trying to start end pretty fast.

After dinner me and lucky went upstairs I took a shower and got ready for bed. I put my hair in two braids with my bang that cover is my right eye. there was a knock on my door "yeah" I said the door open and Jacob walked in "hey mom wanted me to give this to you" he gave me a box and left the room "good night" was the last thing he said.

In the box was I phone a Galaxy 4 with a sticky note on the back. It had a number on it "I guess it's this phone's number" I said to myself I put it on the charger and left it until the morning. I crawled into bed and Lucky crawled next to me "let's see how long we'll be here" and with that we fell asleep.
