Erin's POV:
"Will you marry me?"
What? Did he just ask that?!? Of course! But why ask now? My tears start to fall and a smile appears on my face.
"Oh my god. Y-yes"
I wipe my tears and let out a small laugh. My attempt in wiping my tears failed and more kept falling.
"Don't cry. Come here"
I slowly climb into the bed with him and he cuddles me. I start to fall asleep and I feel him gently squeeze me and grunt.
I wake up to Will tapping my shoulder. Jay is still sleeping soundly.
"No. Go away" I grunt and stuff my head back into Jay's chest. Will just laughs."Erin, I gotta check on him, and you're laying on most of the wires."
"I'm not hurting him, am I?"
I jump out of the bed and turn around, waiting for an answer.
"No No you're fine. I just need to check them."
I nod and back off. Will wiggles some things, writes things down, and changes a couple of settings on the monitor.
"One more day of complete stability and he's good to go. His leg is still healing so he will need crutches and and a cast. No work until the leg is healed. No predicting how long it'll be."
"Got it. I'll tell the others."
I go update the team and they all go back to investigate what happened. As long as Jay is okay, I'm happy.
Back from vacation!
Sorry it took so long to get a single, short chapter out. I planned on writing during the drive back home but something happened the day we left and it just kinda destroyed my whole mood.At the hotel we stayed at, a woman fell or jumped (just found out that she jumped) off her balcony - and take note, the railing was up to my chest and I'm about 5'4ish - to her death. What made it worse is that we woke up, got ready, and we're getting ready to leave when we saw a rescue team and her dead body lying on the roof below us.
She fell from the 15th floor, onto the roof at about the 3rd or 4th floor and we were on the 5th. We figured out today that she left a suicide note and she jumped because there was a chair pushed to the balcony railing. I would say pray for the family she left behind but we were told that her husband and son asks for a refund with blank faces and didn't bat an eye, so I don't know anymore. Anyways, sorry for the chapter delay! Thanks!
