Waking with a groan you opened your eyes to a blurry world. Unsure where you were or what was going on you tried to focus on the voices that seemed to be arguing in a different room. That wasn't right...you weren't in a building before. Trying to sit up you tensed feeling a sharp pain in your ribs and fell back onto the bed breathing heavily for a moment. What was that? Gently easing your way up you looked down and noticed there was bandaged wrapped around you from your waist to your collar bone. Who did this? Rubbing your face you stopped and looked at your hand feeling something on it. A sling? That wasn't right. The last thing you remembered was being in that ally and you doubted that The Foot Clan would've patched you up out of the goodness of their hearts. Groaning as you slowly got out of the cot in what you guessed was some kind of lab you leaned against it for support until all of the feeling was back in your legs. After a few minutes of taking in the room you were in you slowly, and carefully, crept to the doorway and hid behind it as you peeked out to see who was arguing.
There was that turtle again only he wasn't alone. He was arguing with another turtle but this one had a blue mask and Katanas in holsters on his shell. Off in the distance you noted there were two more, one in orange and one in purple with glasses both with different weapons, talking about something. The one in purple held a card in his hand, it looked like your ID card, and was doing something on a computer; though you couldn't see what due to the one in orange blocking your view. Turning your attention back to the two arguing turtles you focused on what they were saying, though it wasn't hard to tell sense they were both being very loud.
"Well what was I suppose to do Leo, huh?! Let her get taken?!" The one in Red snapped not afraid of getting in the slightly shorter turtles personal bubble.
"You weren't even suppose to be out! You know how dangerous that is what were you thinking!? Were you even thinking?! You're lucky that it wasn't a Foot Ninja that saw you!" The one in blue snapped right back doing his best to size up the larger turtle.
"So what if it was a Foot Ninja I can take care of my self!"
"Raph how many times do we need to go over this for you to get it through your skull?!" Leo growled, "We're not suppose to be seen let alone go up top during the day! Even if we did we don't go alone!"
"Maybe I wanna be alone! You think I wanna play this 'goody two shoes ninja boy' thing ya do?! No! I never asked for this! I'm better off callin' my own shots fearless!" Raph growled back dangerously his glare threatening to burn holes in the smaller turtles head.
Leo was about to respond but stopped and turned to look at you.
Tensing you hid more behind the door frame but knew you had been seen so there was no point in going back to the bed and pretending to be asleep. Watching him silently you waited for something to happen
"We'll continue this later with Sensei." Leo told him calmly before making his way over to you.
Stepping back as he grew near you stopped in the middle of the room unsure if you were going to be hurt or not; it looked like Raph wanted to hurt someone and seeing as how his glare had now turned to you so you weren't getting close to either of them. What should you do? You doubted you could run, sure your legs were fine but you didn't think your lungs could handle that right now, and you knew for sure you couldn't fight against him and win. Guess you had to see how things played out.
"Hello." Leo said gently so he didn't scare you anymore than you already were, "My name is Leonardo but you can call me Leo. How are you feeling?"
"I'm...in pain...but...not as much as I was before..." Well he wasn't mad so that was something you had working for you.
"That's good. I'll go get Donnie. You should probably sit back down...you've been through a lot." Leo said as he turned and left the room to grab his brother.
