Kiku was sitting in his hospital bed alone. He doesn't clearly remember how or why he got there but there was just a few flashes. A window, a shake, a crash, darkness and then sudden light. Kiku couldn't exactly remember much of his past other than his name, his home, and a pair of beautiful gleaming eyes. He didn't remember who owned those eyes.

Kiku continued to sit in silence before the door swung open. He looked toward the door as someone started speaking. The room was dark and all Kiku could clearly hear was footsteps and muffled words. The voice started to clear up slowly into something sweet sounding. Kiku looked up at who entered the room.

Alfred stepped in the room. "K-Kiku?" He asked, happy that his companion was awake and alright. "Hello." Kiku replied. He stared blankly at Alfred, unaware of who he is. "Are you alright?" Alfred asked concerned. "Well, I guess so other than I can't really remember things." Kiku replied looking down.

"Do you remember me?" Alfred asked, tilting his head to the side curiously. Kiku was hesitant to answer. "N-no.... Actually....." He answered quietly. Alfred frowned, his shoulders falling. "It's me, Alfred. Your lover. Can't you remember me?" He asked, his eyes seeming to dull.

Kiku hesitated to answer again. He felt terrible that he had to forget someone he loved. "I can't..." He finally answered Alfred. The blonde male sighed as tears threatened to fall. "You're joking right? Please tell me is just a joke!" He asked desperately.

Kiku shook his head. "It's not a joke." He said quietly. Alfred felt a tear slide down his cheek as he looked down, his hands balled into fist. Kiku watched Alfred slowly break down. He tried to think of something to make up for the lost memories. "We could restart..." He said quietly and trailing off.

Alfred looked up at the smaller male, his breath shaking. "H-hello I'm Alfred F. Jones." He responded with a sad smile. "I'm Kiku Honda." Kiku replied to Alfred. Kiku was curious to how he ended up with amnesia in a hospital room. "How did I end up here?" He asked.

"A building collapsed on you..." Alfred answered, trailing off. "Oh." "Yeah....." Alfred replied. "Could you tell me the whole story?" Kiku asked. "Well it all started when we joined war together." Alfred started. Kiku elbowed Alfred. "Did you hear what they said?" Kiku asked. "We're stationed together."

"We were stationed together." Alfred continued and glanced at Kiku and sighed before adding, "One day we were to help people from a burning home...." Kiku carried a woman out of the burning house. He wasn't sure if there was still people but he needed to check. "Alfred, I'm going back in to see if there's anyone left!" He called over to Alfred.

"And you wanted to make sure no one else was left in the building." Alfred said. Kiku looked around the third floor of the house. So far there was no one left but there was two rooms left to check. He glanced out the window when an explosion let out on the first floor, causing the building to shake and collapse. "I-I, uhm, I didn't go in with you.... But a few minutes after you went in the house collapsed." Alfred managed to say.

Kiku thought about what Alfred told him. The story explained the window, shake, crash, and most of his burns. "And that's how you ended up here..... I wish I would of been the one to be in the building instead of you." Alfred finished with a small sigh afterwards. "At least I didn't die in there." Kiku said. "At least." Alfred repeated then sat down in a chair.

The two sat in silence for a few minutes. "I'm sorry." Kiku said quietly. "It's not your fault." Alfred replied without hesitation. "Really?" Kiku asked. "Really." Alfred replied, he knew it was no where near to being Kiku's fault. "Alfred?" "Yes?"
"Could you tell me about... Our past?"
"Sure.... We started being friends in middle school, Me being the popular one you were kind of a social outcast, though you had your own small group." He started.

Kiku sat with Feliciano and Ludwig. The three were chatting away and soon it was just Feliciano and Ludwig talking. 'Definite canon ship right there.' Kiku said in his mind. "One day while your friends were talking I approached you, mostly because I didn't do my math and my other friends didn't help me." He continued.

Kiku gladly helped Alfred with his work. Helping a crush was always a dream after all. "You agreed to help me, we worked on math and we started getting to know each other." Alfred smiled at the memory. Kiku watched Alfred. Listening to their past and admiring how damn adorable Alfred was.

Alfred continued to speak. "We soon became the best of friends." He twiddled his thumbs with a light blush on his face. "After that I started to get a crush on you..." Kiku read his book quietly under a tree, waiting for Alfred to show up. It wasn't long till he heard someone running towards him. He looked up.

"I planned for us to meet one day after school..." He smiled as he spoke. "Hello Alfred-Kun. I've brought the food and- Mmph!"

So this was the very first collab story between Luna and I. It took long because we didn't know how to set it up correctly... -R.H.
