Despite my sadness, I look up from the park bench and watched a train speed into the tunnel. A passenger in the last compartment waves and I gasp. It can't be, it just can't be.. can it?! I stand up and walk out of Central Park and to the nearest Subway station.

When I reached the counter, I asked the lady where the train was going. She told me that it was going to Broadway. I thanked her and went to take a cab to go to Broadway.

When I reached Broadway, I walked straight to the Subway station. There he is, standing in the middle of the crowd as if to wait for me. As I walk toward him, I realize that I was right, that's Dylan from 8th grade.

Now I'm in college and, I can't believe it, I'm seeing Dylan after 6 years! "I..um..uh..I..just..um..well..uh.." I stumble on my words cause I don't know what to say. I am little mad at him 'cause he used to make fun of me and spread so many fake rumors about me. Now, here he is, standing in front of me, smiling. Oh, that little smirk, I'll never forget that smirk. Aggrh!

"You, here, now, why..?" I ask, confused and still mad. I finally find my words. "Hey, Dylan. What are you doing here?" I asked, feeling suspicious. "Hey, Vanessa. When I saw you at the park, I wanted to talk after so many years. I knew that once you saw me wave from the train, you would come to look for me and here I am." he replied, calmly.

But I was frustrated. " Yeah, I'm meeting you after so many years.. What about all that rumors? Huh? The beginning of seventh grade you started spreading these false rumors about me.. I mean, what was that all about?! Were you trying to make my life miserable?!" I screamed, unable to bear my anger.

I sighed, giving up. "I'm sorry, we were still kids back then. Can you please forgive me?" he pleaded.

"Fine, but under one condition." I said.

"What is it? I'll do anything for you, promise."

"Ok, you have to make sure no one remembers any of the rumors you spread about me."

"How do I do that?" he asked.

"It doesn't matter how you do it, just get it done. Okay?"

"Deal." he replied, without hesitating.

"Ok, well, um, bye I have to go," I said, checking my watch.

"No, stay with me, let's go get some coffee. I need to show you something after." he said, with a twinkle in his eye.

"Okay." I said, smiling, as he grabbed my hand and walked out into the busy street of New York.
