3rd person POV

Katelyn walked down a dusty dirt path, leaving her footprints trailing behind her. Her head hung down in thought, watching as her feet imprinted the earth's surface.

She slowly lifted her head, seeing a large shimmering ocean in front of her. This was a sight she had longed to see. She waited days to be able to return to this place–work had gotten in the way of it. A smile tugged at her lips, the feeling of peace engulfing her. She let all of her stress melt away, going up to the damp sand. Going back and forth from Phoenix Drop and where she is now, wasn't the best way to pass time. Getting supplies, going to New Mateli, Bright Port, Scaleswind, and she finally made it to the place she actually wanted to go.

Settling on the sand, Katelyn smiled at the deserted area. Heaving peace, quiet, and being alone for once, was all she wished for. And she had it.

But that only lasted a few moments before a sudden voice interrupted the silence.

"Heyyyyyyyyyyyy Katelyn," she turned around, rolling her eyes at the sight of the white haired man.

"Travis, I wanted to be alone," Katelyn put her fists under her head, digging her elbows into her knees.

"Then you can be alone with me," Travis smiled, sitting next to Katelyn on the ground.

"I'm pretty sure that's not how it works," her annoyed tone added to her suddenly grouchy mood. Looking at the forest to her left, she sighed in annoyance.

"I wanted to be alone too, ya know?" Katelyn turned her head back to Travis, raising an eyebrow.

"Then why'd you come here? I told you guys I was coming here," she looked back at the water, the sounds of soft waves filling her ears.

"Because, if I came I knew you weren't going to talk to me. Then it would be like I was actually alone," he watched closely at the large ship rocking as the indents in the water went around it, the sail flapping in the wind,"come to think of it, I come here often."

"Well, I find that kind of funny," a quiet chuckle filled the air, Travis reacting with a surprised flinch, "you wanted to be alone..."

"Well, yeah. We all need a break," Katelyn looked at him, blushing slightly at his slice of wisdom.

"I mean, why would you want to be alone? You were already alone for most of your life," Katelyn giggled, letting it die down as she watched Travis' reaction.

"Yeah... But... You know, I'd rather not bring that up," Travis rolled his lips inside his mouth, slowly looking to his right at the sand next to him.

"Oh... Um, s-sorry," Katelyn looked away, feeling awkward with the tension in the air growing. The silence grew longer, letting the two sit peacefully. Katelyn sighed, looking slightly back at Travis. When will he start acting flirty? She would never know the answer. That is until he does start acting flirty. Katelyn bit the tip of her nail on her thumb, thinking of a way to start more conversation.

Travis sat anxious next to Katelyn, nearly exploding with how close she's gotten in the past few minutes. He felt a drop of sweat forming on his forehead as he scrunched up his face, looking over at Katelyn. Both eyes met instantly, making each of them measly jump back. Travis felt a spark going off in his chest, making him feel slightly squeamish.

"D-do you feel that?" Travis glared at Katelyn with his vibrant eyes illuminating in the sun's rays, thinking he just asked the stupidest question.

"I may not have magiks, but..." Katelyn looked into Travis' shining orbs, feeling one spot in her stomach become warmer, "I-I do..." She basically did this on a regular basis when she saw Travis, feeling a blush on her face starting to grow. Katelyn slowly leaned in on Travis, making their faces inches apart.

Travis sat wide eyed, biting his lip as Katelyn got closer. Katelyn got so close as to where their lips brushed, Travis letting go of his soft lip.

"Uh.. K-Katelyn?" Travis stuttered on his words–something he does often around Katelyn. But this time it was different. She was the one making the move, and not him. Travis sat frozen in disbelief, feeling Katelyn place a hand behind his neck. Katelyn slowly pressed her lips on his as Travis sat wonder struck, still wrapping his head around what was happening.

Travis soon snapped out of his trance, closing his eyes as he moved his hands to Katelyn's lower back. Travis whimpered, loosing contact with Katelyn. They put their foreheads together, looking into each other's eyes with small smiles on their faces. Travis' smile curled on one end, turning it into a smirk as he replayed what just happened in his head.

"Well, looks like I don't have to try very hard anymore," Travis chuckled, smiling at the privacy the two had.

"Oh yes you do, I'm not very easy to get with," Katelyn responded to his what seemed to be false statement, wrapping both of her arms around Travis' neck. She slumped down, putting her head on his chest. Travis looked at his hands, barely noticing how close they were to Katelyn's butt. His eyes widened, feeling a large amount of blood rushing to his cheeks.

"H-heh... Nice, uhh... Asssssssss– I'm stopping myself there..." Travis moved his gaze to the forest behind Katelyn, trying his best not to stare at Katelyn's butt.

"Hmph, you better."
