Bones and Blasters were shot around in the Final Corridor. Frisk dodged each attack getting scraped or stabbed by them ever once in a while. Frisk had just done a genocide route and she had to complete it.
But it couldn't. He was in the way. The comedian. Frisk triggered the genocide route. She was the one that started it in the ruins. Now, it was face to face with her and Sans. She kept on slashing the real knife at Sans. It hurt her deep inside, but she had to complete it.. Right?
She soon saw Sans getting tired. A small smile appeared on her face. "Hey.. Uh.. Frisk, you really do like swinging that thing around, huh?.. Listen.." He threw a couple bones at Frisk. "I know you didn't answer me before, but..." Frisk watched Sans as she gripped her knife, dodging the bones he threw at her.
"Somewhere in there, kiddo... There's a glimmer of a good person inside you.. You know?" He grinned slightly at Frisk. "The memory of a person that once wanted to do the right thing in a timeline.. Someone, in another timeline, that.. Could have been a friend?"
Frisk shook as she heard those words. Resetting.. She did all of that, just to restart the timeline all over. All over again, she restarted.
"C'mon Frisk.. Don't 'ya remember me? If.. Your the real frisk listening, lets.. Forget this all ever happened, alright? Lay down your weapon, and.. Uhh.. This'll make my job much, much more easier.." Sans grinned slightly at Frisk. "Our friendship.. Your friendship with everyone else, it's great, isn't it?.."
A clank echoed around the room. Frisk dropped to her knees, crying. "Sans... I'm.. So sorry." She whispered. "I started this mess." She looked up at him. He was approaching her.
"C'mere buddy. I forgive you..." He opened his arms out. Almost immediately, Frisk ran into his arms.
"I'm so sor-" she was cut off by bones entering her body. She widened her eyes before closing her eyes gently.
"Sans..?" She asked smiling slightly, opening her eyes as blood dripped down from her mouth. "I'm.. Sorry.. But.." She looked at Sans as she coughed out blood. She saw his glowing eye slowly going down. "But.. I.. Promise I'll make it better next time." She smiled.
"Kid.. I know you will. Make it better next time." Sans said chuckling slightly, though tears rolled down his face. Darkness consumed Frisk's vision as she appeared at a reset or continue screen. Her hand loomed over the reset button before pressing it.
I promise Sans... I'll never do that again..
