we all need a break from requests. Here's our cute little pair of the Royal children c:

"HEY AZZY!" Chara yelled.
The human pulled themselves over the bed, and toppled onto the prince.

"Charaaa! You're crushing meeee!" Asriel squeaked.

"Oh my god, do that again! That was so cute." Chara grabbed Asriel by the ears. "You lil' bunny."

"C-Chara!!" Asriel whined, his face growing red.
Chara snickered, and rolled off of him, dropping his ears on the way.
Asriel sat up, and grabbed something from behind him.

"What are you doing?" Chara asked, narrowing their eyes.
Asriel pulled out a stick.

"Aha! The god of hyper death prevails! >:D!"

"Nooooo!" Chara scrambled to their feet and broke into a run.
Asriel banged against the wall as he tried to catch up to Chara, who escaped the room.

"CHARA, ASRIEL, STOP MAKING SO MUCH NOISE!"

"Sorry!" Chara yelled down.

"Are you two still playing that silly old game?" Toriel came up to Chara, and glanced at Asriel.

"I don't see a problem with it." Chara huffed.

Toriel chuckled. "You two are almost seventeen. You should go out and do some work for once. It'll give your father a break."

"You know I don't like calling you guys my parents now. It doesn't feel... right." Chara said.

"Yes, yes, I understand. It was a past time thing. But same as your game with Asriel. Speaking of which, Asriel are you alright?"

"Yeah! I'm fine!" Asriel stumbled out of the room, rubbing his forehead.

"W.D. and Sans called you to the lab today, Asriel. They decided to give your father a break with all the work so they're going to start helping you out with your training."

"Aw man. I thought I was going to get out of it today." Asriel muttered.

"I can come with you," Chara suggested.

Toriel sighed. "I suppose that will be alright." She adjusted her glasses and let out a yawn. "I'm going to go get some sleep. You two be good."

"Come on, Azzy." Chara said, grabbing him by the wrist.
The two stumbled out of the house, Chara in front.
They were pulling him along until they reached Hotland.

"Jeez you go fast," Asriel panted.

"Sorry. I just wanted to get out of the capital. There's no one here so I feel more comfortable talking to you."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you're part of the royal family, Asriel. It feels so awkward talking to the soon-to-be King."
Asriel blinked.

"Chara, who said you weren't part of our family?" Asriel asked.

"I... I don't want to be. It doesn't feel right. A human ruling over the underground?"

"Well, I suppose that's your choice. I won't stop you, but you can talk to me if you need anything, okay?"

"Okay." Chara leaned on his shoulder.
Asriel blushed, and looked away.
"Asriel... is it okay if..."

Asriel placed his head on Chara's. "Yes, Chara. It's okay." He murmured.
"I love you too."

"C..could you promise me something?"

"Hm?"

"I don't want to be your sibling. And I don't want you to treat me as one. Will you promise me that you'll respect my decision and..."

Asriel smiled warmly. "I promise." He lowered his head and Chara blushed as he kissed them.
