Alec's POV
There was one thought that crossed my mind before I met with Jenika... I hope Magnus is happy that I'm finding myself again... I knew he would be so I quickly prepared the small tasks that were needed for tonight, making sure I had everything the flowers, my wallet, and more importantly my dagger for that small chance something can happen. I made a promise to myself, a promise not to let anything happen to Jenika. She was my new light, and yes I know I sound like a complete sap but what would you expect from someone who had lost his everything then in a single moment found his hope again? Jenika was my new hope. I make my way to the institutes from a cold sweat on my neck and hands. I know I'm worried, but I also know I have nothing to worry about Jenika wouldn't have said yes if she didn't feel anything towards me. I step in the front of the stairs and wait. Then as if it's in slow motion Jenika walks out from the hallway in a beautiful red body hugging dress and a black leather jacket. I've never seen such perfection, I've never felt more awe struck. That's when I knew how bad I was falling. She steps down her hair falling in her face, a smile highlighting her beautiful features. She was perfect. I hand her the flowers my hand finding the back of my neck as I rub it nervously. "Calla Lillies... How did you know?" She says with a gleam in her eyes, "I just figured that they were as perfect as you." I say shrugging. She runs and puts them in a vase and soon were sitting down eating our meal talking as if we hadn't just met a month ago, that's how I knew she was my new light that's what made it official. As we sit in the theatre watching the mundane movie Deadpool I have to admit that it is VERY funny. I slip my arm around Jenika and she snuggles in closer if that's even possible. Tonight was perfect. As we walk up the steps of the institute we laugh and then all of a sudden my lips are on hers connecting and moulding together as if they were two pieces of a puzzle waiting to find each other. I can't help but ask her out again as she blushes a cute Crimson muttering a yes in response. I kiss her goodnight and head to my room with a smile on my face. It's been forever since I've smiled like this. But one thing I knew, I was falling in love with Jenika...
