As I walk with Jenika my heart races. There's just something about her, I don't know what it is or how it's happening, I always thought I would spend the rest of my days with Magnus, I never imagined him dying, I never imagined that I would have to go through the rest of my life without him after all the time we have spent together. I loved him, and I still do, it's a wonder how I'm gonna get over him. But I know I will have to, I have to live my life, I have to be happy, it's what he would have wanted for me. "So what's your story Alec?" She asks me a gentle smile playing at her lips. "Well I grew up here, my parents adopted Jace after they left the circle. They died, I took care of my sister and have growing up, I never really have done anything but hunting." I say " I was with my boyfriend Magnus for quite a while but he was killed by the night people for a crime he committed against them that I didn't know about. So I've been without him for six months about now, and then I met this girl and everything changed and suddenly I'm finding myself questioning everything if I was straight up gay or if I was just curious and just stayed with the one person that actually showed me love outside of my family. So I want to see what happens with her and I before I jump to conclusions about where I stand as a person." I look at her and smile " who is this girl?" She asks with a glimmer of jealousy in her eyes. I smirk at her as I mutter the words i know she was hoping for "You." And I close the space between us in a gentle kiss.
