Whoop, it's Wednesday. Sorry this is up so late in the day but I had orientation for college today and was out and about. Here I am now tho, hope this brightens up your Wednesday/Thursday a little (or whatever day it is you're reading this).
Also, the questions might seem stupid but I promise they do have a purpose and they will have a point. There may occasionally (probably very rarely) be times where I asked two questions but I'm not sure. I'm just writing this as I go so wherever it takes me is where it goes. Anyways, I'll stop blabbing. Continue on.
Note: There's a flash back in this
"But really, what happened?" Erica pushed.
Derek sighed looking over at his younger sister who just shrugged, his eyes grazed over all of the pack members, sticking to Stiles when the younger boy wrapping himself around his arm.
"Okay...uh..." Derek wrapped his hand around Stiles thigh, "before the fire...we all came here like normal over the summer and everything seemed fine..."
"Derek! Come on! She went down there!" Cora yelled pulling on her brother's arm. Derek laughed allowing himself to be pulled down toward one of the underground mines that were near their cabin.
"What's she even doing down there?" He asked.
Cora shrugged, "I hate it down here."
"Me too." Derek sighed, "Laura! Come on!"
The two of them searched together for what felt like hours before they started to head back.
"But, Derek, she's still down here."
"I know, I'm getting mom. I'm not getting lost down here. It's dangerous."
Cora scoffed, "We're werewolves Der, our lives are dangerous."
"I'm not getting lost down here and neither are you!"
"You're not my boss! I'm finding Laura!"
Derek threw his younger sister over his shoulder, "No way in hell."
"Stay. Here." Talia snapped walking out of the cabin followed by their father.
"Is she gonna be okay." Cora asked quietly.
Derek nudged her with his elbow, "It's Laura, she's always okay." Cora sighed leaning into Derek. "Why don't you grab that stupid game you like and I'll play with you until everyone gets back."
"Really?" She sat up smiling. Derek nodded.
Derek woke up when he was being shaken by Talia, "Derek, honey, get up, we need your help."
"What's going on?" He looked around to see Cora on the couch asleep.
"We found Laura, she's hurt. Come on."
Walking into the kitchen Derek froze, his older sister was lying across the table, blood surrounding her, with gashes all over her body.
"Derek, over here now!" His father snapped him out of it.
"W-What happened?" Derek asked doing as his father asked.
Talia sighed bringing over a handful of things. "She was attacked."
"By what?"
"We don't know."
"So what was it?" Isaac asked.
Cora spoke up next, "Our parents never figured it out before the fire happened."
"She didn't make it to the next morning." Derek said quietly.
"But...I thought after the fire you went to New York with Laura?"
Derek shook his head, "I was put with a foster pack in New York that my parents new. I came back because I heard Cora was still alive."
"Well, where'd Cora go?"
"I was hiding in the woods, I didn't think anyone else made it out and I was scared. One of our mom's best friends found me and brought me back to her pack."
"I think that's enough for tonight guys..." Stiles said softly.
Nobody fought him, they watched as he got up pulling Derek with him and went inside. Slowly the rest of the pack followed with them heading to their respective rooms for the night.
--
"You didn't have to do that last night, you know." Stiles spoke, sleep lacing his words as he made breakfast for everyone.
"I know," Derek replied, wrapping his arms around Stiles' middle, chin resting on his shoulder. "But, it's our pack, I feel like they're allowed to know. I mean, it's not a secret."
"It's not their business either." Stiles sighed.
Derek bit lightly on his ear, "Why are you upset about this?"
"I'm not, I just hate when you make yourself upset like last night."
"You're gonna have to get used to that babe." Derek kissed the others cheek moving the lean against the counter.
Stiles groaned, "What's the plan today?"
"I was thinking a hike."
"With everyone or just us?"
Derek shrugged, "I don't care."
"Let's bring everyone."
"Okay."
--
The pack groaned when the hike was brought up, a few of them (Erica and Lydia) refusing to go, the rest didn't seem happy but went along anyways. Stiles and Derek had been leading them down a path and when they finally turned to look behind them half the pack was gone.
"Wait, where is everyone?" Stiles asked.
Scott, Isaac, Cora, and Aiden were still present but Boyd, Jackson, Ethan, Allison, and Kira were nowhere to be seen.
"Derek, we need to find them."
Derek sighed, "Go back with Cora, and take Isaac with you. Scott, Aiden, you'll come with me to help look."
"What?"
"You heard me Stiles, I don't need to lose you too."
Stiles rolled his eyes, "I'm not just going to leave, are you insane! I'm helping search."
"Stiles."
"Derek."
Okay, there it is. Any who, question.
Should Stiles go back to the cabin or should he search with Derek?
A. Go Back
B. Search With Derek
It's actually 12:54 AM here in New York so it's Thursday. Oops.
