"Derek," Stiles called running over to the wolf as the pack walked into the cabin, "Derek don't freak out."
Derek raised his eyebrows at the younger, "Why would I?"
"Cora may or may not have run off to figure out what some weird noise was in the woods and Erica may or may not have followed her..." Stiles said quickly biting his lip.
Derek growled, "Don't move." He snapped toward the rest of the pack as he left the cabin.
--
Derek caught Cora and Erica's scents quickly, they were still close to the cabin so it didn't take long for the alpha to find them. He roared making both of them submiss.
Erica raised her hands in defense, "Hey, I was just chasing after you're crazy ass sister here."
Derek glared at the blonde and turned towards his sister, "What the hell do you think you're doing!?"
"It could be a threat!" She yelled, "Don't tell me you didn't hear it!"
"You're right, it could be a threat. So what makes you think you should be so irresponsible to come out here alone and get yourself killed!?"
"Well you were nowhere to be seen someone had to fucking step up!"
Derek rolled his eyes, "You're an idiot. We're going back to the cabin. We'll talk about this in the morning." Cora crossed her arms eyebrows raised, "LET'S GO!"
Sighing she dropped her arms and stormed back toward the cabin, Erica in tow, Derek following right behind.
--
Back at the cabin Derek and Cora went at it again, Cora understood why Derek didn't want them looking tonight, especially alone, but it was her brother so she had to have the last word. The pack sighed walking off into their rooms. Stiles kissed Derek's cheek and mumbled something about 'these fucking Hales' as he walked toward the room he shared with Derek down the hall.
Derek sighed and gave up, collapsing into bed. Stiles rolled over and curled into Derek's side.
"Cora won, didn't she?"
"Shut up, no."
Stiles snorted, "So, she hit you a bunch of times and you growled and walked away."
"Maybe, shut up."
--
Derek woke up to Isaac shaking him awake, he rubbed a hand across his face and stared up sleepily at the beta.
"Lydia made breakfast, Stiles wants you to get your ass out of bed, and Cora's trying to go hunt whatever was in the woods last night again." Derek groaned sitting up. "I think Aiden's sitting on her right now."
Isaac smirked at Derek's sigh and walked out of the room knowing his alpha was following behind him. When they walked into the living room Derek glared at his younger sister, Cora groaning from where she was pinned to the ground.
"You said we'd go today."
"It's barely today. You can wait till after breakfast."
"You're a piece of trash, Derek Hale."
Derek rolled his eyes at his sister and followed the sound of Stiles' voice into the kitchen.
--
"Derek." Cora said, annoyance lacing her voice.
"Cora, chill."
Aiden butted in, "No, Derek, listen."
"To what?" He groaned, "Her bitch to me more about how I'm a 'horrible alpha' or some other crap she comes up with?"
"You dumbfuck, I wasn't gonna say that." Cora rolled her eyes.
"But..." Erica started, "That thing just like disappeared or something."
"It's probably just nocturnal or something, we can look again when we hear it next." Jackson groaned, "Can we go back to the cabin now?"
"No Jackson, something isn't right." Cora snapped.
"Okay, I agree with Jackson. This is boring." Scott sighed, sitting on a rock nearby. "I miss Isaac."
"You guys are such idiots, there could be something out here that could hurt us all and you just want to let it!?" Erica snapped.
"Derek!" Everyone growled turning toward him.
He looked between all of them sighing, "Um...well...we're gonna..."
Okay, sorry this took so long and it's not the best in my opinion but I don't think anything I write is as good as you say it is. Haha question time.
Should they go back to the cabin or keep looking?
A. Go Back
B. Keep Looking
