Chapter 7: Kidnapped

"Let me out!!" Screamed a furious Natsu.
It was actually pretty quiet before he shouted his none sense. After what happened we all just sat in the guild and waited patiently. Except for Natsu....
"Let me out of here!!"
Mira decided to change Natsu into a tiny lizard and trapped him inside a glass cup to keep him from trying to get Erza back. He kept complaining until she had enough.
"Natsu! Shut up!" Mira said in a annoyed tone.
"If I let you out, you'd just go on a rampage, right?"
"I would not!! Anyway, change me back!!"
"If I did, the first thing you'd do is scream ''I'm coming to save you!!'' Right?"
"I would not! Who would even want to save Erza?!"
Our response was silence until Gray spoke.
"This time, she's up against the Council! There's no stopping them."
"Let me out!! There's one thing I will say!! Council or not...they're the ones making the mistake!"
"Something could be white, but if the Council says it's black, then it's black. There's nothing we could say that would get through to them." Gray sighed.
"But it's weird. When you think of all the things that have happened why'd they pick this time?" Elfman said In a curious tone.
"Yeah. It begs for an explanation."
Every time someone talks about how this is unfair, I feel bad about myself, Considering that I was the one who destroyed Clover. But, I guess Erza damaged property so many times that the Council is now blindly picking her for someone else's mistakes.
"There's something...something's gotta be behind it." I said.

  ~The Council Fiore Division~
~Erza's POV~

Everything in here seems dense. The atmosphere...the people....I don't know how to describe It, but I feel as if I've been expected for a long time. Suddenly I see one of the Council members. I couldn't tell at first, but then I realized....
"Long time no see, Erza."
"Siegrain!!"
"You needn't take such a defensive posture. This body is a thought projection. My true body is still in Era. All of the old bastards beyond that door are also thought projections. No one felt the need to come physically for such a small matter." He said smirking.
"So, this whole thing was a setup by your people? What a farce!"
"I'm mortified....I've stood as Fairy Tail's most ardent defender. But the Los guys are scared that the blame will fall on them. They're frantic to dredge up someone they can shove all the responsibility off on. They want a scapegoat. But still, even after the Clover incident they choose you guilty...even though that Dragonslayer brat did most of the dirty work."
"Shut up! I shall take most responsibility for her actions. She had no control over her power!"
"Ah....no matter. There is only one reason I came to see you prior to the trial."
Siegrain gently grasped the bottom of my chin and got closer to my face. Even though it was a thought projection, I can still feel the warmth of his hand. All I did was stand there.
"Do not speak of a certain subject to the old bastards." He whispered.
"For both our sakes, hm?"
He slowly backed away and began to fade away.
"Now....I'll be waiting on the other side of the door. As a member of the Council."  And with that, he disappeared.
"Y-you know some....incredible people...." Said a frog-like creature that was escorting me to the room with the Council members."
Evil people.
"Hm?"

~A Few Minutes Later~

This Trial of Wizards will now commence. Will the defendant, Erza Scarlet, please....take the stand.
