It was night time already. Caesar and Jojo were beat from today's training is with teacher Lisa Lisa. They went to their room, which they shared, to get some rest. Jojo was the first to plop on the bed, letting out a big sigh of relief. "Finally, some rest." He chirped as Caesar sat at the feet of the bed. Caesar mind was somewhere else. He was scared since the day was coming closer when they had to face the pillar men. He worried of what would happened. The thought of them losing made him frighten. "Caesaroni, hey." The brunette called out, snapping Caesar back to reality.
"What is it?" The Italian replied, looking over at him who was looking back.
"Something wrong?" He asked. "You seem pretty quiet today." He continued. Usually Caesar and Jojo would have a conversation on their training they had that day.
Caesar looked away, now looking at his hands. "Hey Jojo." He started. "Do you think we'll both make it after this battle? You know, the one with those pillar men?" He asked. His voice was soft, clearly showing that he was serious. Jojo blinked his eyes, sitting up and looking at Caesar with a smile.
"Pftt, oh of course we will. Like those pillar men can defeat us and if something does happen to you I'll always be there to save ya so don't worry about it, alright?" He said still with that smile on his face. Caesar couldn't help but to softly smiling hearing that.
"You'll always be there?" He asked, looking back at him. Jojo nodded, putting a hand on Caesar's cheek.
"Of course! Always. Don't forget that, alright. Call my name and I'll be there to swoop in and save you. And when I call out your name you better be there to reply, alright?"
"Alright." Caesar went in to kiss Jojo's forehead and Jojo chuckled in response. Jojo's little speech did make him feel better though he still had a bad feeling. It was probably nothing he thought.

February 27, 1939 Caesar had died from Wamuu's power. The bloody hamon bubble gave them a sign. The light shining to the rock with blood flowing underneath it only showed that their fear of their friend was gone from this world was right. Lisa Lisa and Jojo weeped from the loss of their friend's death. Jojo called out his friend's name over and over again to only hear silence in response. Their promise was also broken that day.
//I suck at writing stories so yeah. This was rushed as well if you could tell. I didn't really know how to end it and yeah.
