Gaara's POV
Right now I'm walking around the village. Temari is in Konoha just to visit I guess. Kankuro is on a mission so I'm here all alone.

"Gaara the Kazekage would like to see you" said an ANBU member. "Okay I'll be right there.

I ran to the Kazekage's mansion and I knocked on the door three times. I heard a faint "come in" so I walked in side. "You wanted to see me"I asked. "Yes you will be escorting an old friend of yours"said the Kazekage. "I understand"I said not caring if it was an old friend. "Meet her a the main gates. You are dismissed" with that I left to the main gates.

I waited and waited and waited. Who ever this old friend is she is taking forever. "Gaara"I heard a voice say so I turned. "Gaara its you!!!" Said the girl. "Who are you"I asked her when she let me go.

"Oh Gaara how can you forget me. Its (y/n) remember"said the girl. "Sorry but I don't remember you"I said.

"Humph"she pouted. "Oh well"she skipped in front of me happy a again. She stopped. "You coming"she turned around. "Huh oh yeah"I said and walked with her. "Can we get ice cream"she asked. (Yes ice cream exist)

"Okay"I said to her. "Yay"she was so happy that she was jumping up and down. I sweat dropped.

"We used to get ice cream all the time" said (y/n). We walked up to the ice cream store and waited in line for about five minutes. "I would like vanilla with chocolate fudge on top"me and (y/n) said at the same time. She giggled. "Seems like you favorite kind hasn't changed" she. giggled even more.

We got got ice cream and decided to sit down because (y/n) just got back from a big journey so she mist be tired.

"So Mr. Sabaku what have you Ben up to since I left" (y/n) asked. "Hn" I answered. "I see you've turned into a Emo but a good Emo of course. You also got taller "(y/n) said. "Hn" I said again. "Come on Gaara say something other than Hn" I was then troubled so I looked out the window into the sky.

"Whats troubling you Gaara"(y/n) asked me. "How can you tell"I asked. "You always look at the clouds when your troubled"she said. Did I really know her because she seems to know a lot about me. "Why aren't you scared"I said finishing my ice cream.

"scared of what she finished hers to and we both stood up and walked out. "Scared of me" I finally answered.

(Y/n)'s POV
"Scared of me"Gaara answered. Why would I be scared of him. "Why would I be scared of you"I asked. "Because everyone else in the village is".

What! How could everyone be scared of Gaara he's like a little Panda with a fighting spirit inside him.

"What!!??,!Why?!!!" I asked. "Because I'm a monster"he answered.

Gaara's POV
"Because I'm a monster"I answered and gritted my teeth and clenched my fist.

"Oh Gaara"she said smiling. Great now she's probably scared. But next thing I know she hugs me. "I don't think your a monster. Your just different"she said softly.

I widened my eyes an then I felt something wet on my shirt. (Y/n) she was crying. For me?. " sorry its just.........I feel so bad. I know how they treated you when we were young"(y/n) said. I soon hugged her back and let her cry.
