Lost Boy

Chapter 3

As Bear and I ate, we mostly listened to our boss speak his 'genius' plan. Surprisingly, he wanted to do something of the impossible. I really predicted that we'd be in a coup de'tat. How do I know? Well, I feel it in my gut, not to mention that I'm part demon.

After our groups were split up. I wasn't in a group with Bear. Why did I want to be there with him? Well, so I could save his ass if needed. Unfortunately, I couldn't do so. As I began to do my part in the plan, I felt anxiety enter my body. What were we exactly doing?? Well, we were going to bankrupt the Starclaire's and capture Mythical Starclaire. Why? Well, the Starclaire's are the highest aristocrats.

Unfortunately, my prediction was correct! We were caught in a coup de'tat, and by unfortunate circumstances, I survived. I panted hard, before tears swelled my eyes. Bear can't be dead, don't let him be dead!! I thought to myself, before seeing a familiar rusty orange haired boy. It was Bear!! "WO-" he was about to yell, when I embraced him in a hug. "Thank god, I thought you were dead!!" Bear exclaimed, embracing me back.

We both began to walk around the village, walking in complete silence. It was different now that our gang was dead, but only Bear and I survived. "At least we'll never be doing that again." Bear finally spoke, and I nodded in reply. "Yeah, agreed." I replied, and before I knew it, I was blacked out, along with Bear.

I awoke the next day, seeing myself in an orphanage. I was in the same room with Bear, but I saw a boy who looked like an aristocrat. There was a blonde headed boy who actually looked gorgeous. I am not gay, I am straight. Finally, there was that boy who was being abused by . . . Melissa, Justin, and Christina. "So, you're the two new boys that'll be staying with us?" the aristocratic looking boy asked.

Bear and I were clearly confused, but we nodded in reply. "Yes, yes we are." I replied, when the blonde headed boy smiled. "Great!! I'm Kou!" he said, offering a hand out towards Bear and I. I smiled, before taking it. We shook hands, and we all introduced ourselves. We had a great time all together in the orphanage. Bear, Kou, Ruki, and Azusa were technically acting like brothers, while I slowly drifted away from them.

I really didn't know how to count myself in on all the events, and we mostly grew up altogether in that orphanage bedroom. Ruki devised a plan, that I knew was going to backfire. They, as in Ruki, Kou, Bear, and Azusa were going to attempt to escape the orphanage all together. I didn't really want to since I didn't want to get caught or in trouble, but something changed my mind. What caused it? Well, it was Mythical that did.

She was going on the escape plan with the four, and I decided to go on it too. I packed up a few things, before walking out of the bedroom to meet up with Ruki, Kou, Bear, Azusa, and Mythical. "Hey, Wolf? Can I talk to you in private?" Bear asked, and I nodded. We walked towards the bushes, and stood behind them with him. "Okay, um . . . i-is this going to go according to plan or is it going to backfire? Just for a heads up!" Bear asked nervously.

I sighed, before looking down. "Its going to backfire, but only for five of us. One is going to actually escape." I replied, before rubbing the nape of my neck. Bear's eyes widened in fear as he looked over at Ruki, Kou, Azusa, and Mythical. "O-Okay, thanks. C'mon, lets go." Bear said, before walking back over to the small group. I sighed, before walking over to the group as well.

It felt like a few hours, and I was being extra careful with where I stepped. On our journey, we built a small camp, where we heard a gunshot. We ran to a small stream where Bear and Ruki catch some fish and we ate. That's when we heard another gunshot. We continued to run before we got to a corn field. That's also when we heard another gunshot, and corn stalks rustled behind is. "Run!!" Ruki said, before running.

All of use followed him, running into a forest where Mythical tripped and fell. I hid in the bushes, keeping down low on the ground. Azusa was shot first, then it was Kou, next Bear, and finally Ruki. Mythical remained alive, but she was whipped by Greg for punishment. As I saw the orphanage staff drag them back to the orphanage, and I saw Bear weakly back at me. He pointed towards the ground, and I looked down.

It was Bear's pocket knife!! He must've dropped it! I picked up, and looked back towards where they were being dragged. They were gone except for a small, faint light in the distance. I looked down, before walking deeper into the forest, knowing that I had to survive out here somehow. "Don't worry, Bear, I'll make sure to get revenge for you." I said, before running deeper and deeper into the forest, not stopping until I found a settle location.

I settled down, building myself a small camp, and looked down at Bear's pocket knife. "I will have revenge . . . and I'll fight in Bear's name." I said, before laying down on my makeshift bed, and fell asleep. I heard Lucifer naming off everything that I could do to get revenge . . . absolutely everything.

Hello lovelies!! This is the beginning of the sucky Chapter crud *sweat drops* Well, I hope chapter 3 was good!! In the next chapter, it will resume to the present (you'll see what I mean), where Wolf attends Ryoutei Academy. I'm not spoiling from there on!!! I hope you enjoyed!! <3
