Jack's pov

I heard a yell and , I instantly refocused. I was so lost . I wanted to pick who I fell in love with not have my mom choose for me.

"Well Cathy , thank you so much for having me." My mom smiled.

"Anytime and , I'm so sorry about Ava. I didn't think she would react this way." Cathy sighed.

And , with that we left.

Ava's pov

Words can not explain how furious I am. Like I wouldn't have minded as much if it weren't jack.

Jack , made my life miserable at school. Always taunted me , made fun of me , mocked me , and so much more. Now to find out I have to marry him. It's the worst thing ever.

"Ring , ring."

I sighed and answered my phone seeing that my mom called and , if I don't answer it would be a lot worse than just yelling.

"Really Ava , you could've acted so much mature than this. This was important . It's to unite the company ."

"No , honestly mom I can't marry him and , I won't. I really don't care about your company. The company is ALL you ever focused on and I'm tired of it ."
