Ava's pov
I sit up from the sidewalk, and go into my car I start the engine and drive home. Once I get home I get out of my car and walk into my house I try to be as quiet as possible so my so called mom won't hear me.

"Ava is that you ?"  

I stayed quiet "Ava if that's you come here now" 

"yes?" 

"Don't give me that attitude" 

"what attitude ?" 

"Ok listen I know you don't want to marry Jack" 

"Exactly keyword don't finally we're one the same page"  

But as much as you don't want to you have to,it'll be good for the company's future" I scoff .

"whatever" and go upstairs.

"Oh I suggest you start packing jacks coming to help move all the boxes tomorrow." my madre called after me.

"yeah whatever" I hollered back I close my door and start packing my stuff .

3 hours later

By the time I finish packing it was 3 am,I grab my phone and plug it in and lay in my bed and let it charge. As I was drifting off to a wonderful slumber I got a message , I checked to see who it was and it was Zara.

Zar💛- hiiii hoe😘
Ava- Heyy
Zar💛- What are you doing ?
Ava- Packing , you ?
Zar💛- PACKING!? Where are you going ?!
Ava-Come over it's much easier to talk about it in person than in text .
Zar💛- I'll be over in 3,love you 😘💛
Ava-love you too 💙

End Of  conversation

3 minutes later...

I hear a knock on the front door and I quickly run down the stairs,and open the door .

"ok now spill why the hell are you packing?"

"Ok so my mom decided to plan an arranged marriage and now she is forcing me to move in with him"

Wow why'd she do that your only 17 ! "

"She did it for the company.."

"Aww babe it sucks but listen I know you don't want to do it,and I understand that but just know in the tough times I'm here for you,I've got your back and I'll always will just like that day we met"  

"Just like I'll be here for you" I let tears roll down my cheeks and I cried I cried for the first time in 2 years and it felt good, Zara looked at me and embraced me,she hugged me she hugged me like she wouldn't ever see me again.

"Thank you" I whispered.

"Anytime" we hugged one last time before she left,I saw her roll out of my driveway farther and farther down the road until she was completely out of my view.

I laid on the couch and cried for a bit I cried because my life was gonna change forever and I was scared shitless.

Was I ready for change ?
