Chapter 2

Raidens POV

"RIIIIING RIIIIING RIIIIING" i shoot up from my bed panting and searching frantically for my phone. I look to my right and see it sitting on my nightstand. I pick it up and answer it.

"Hello?" i say into the reciever.

"Ah your up. Thats good. We have training today. Meet me in the training room in an hour."

I blink. "Sephiroth? How did you get my number?" i ask

"Not important." he says chuckling a bit. "See you in an hour" he hangs up.

I sigh and put my phone on my nightstand and stand up. I walk over to my closet and get out my normal clothes. I quickly change then do my normal routine. After im finished i check my phone to see that i still have half an hour to spare.

"Hmm...maybe i can find Genesis or Angeal.." i say to myself. I put my shoes on then walk out the door.

"Where would they be..." i ask myself wandering down the hall.

"HEY WATCH OUT!!!" i hear somebody yell. I turn around just in time to be tackled to the ground. I groan in pain.

"Im so sorry!!!" the person says as he gets off of me and reaches a hand out.

I look up at him. He has jet black hair kinda like angeals. He has a sword on his back and bright blue eyes. I take his hand and he pulls me up.

"My names Zack! Nice to meet you!" he says while smiling and holding his hand out to shake.

I cautiously shake his hand. "My names Raiden." i say and he pulls his hand away.

"Nice to meet you! Are you looking for somebody?" he asks, still smiling.

"Ah actually yes. Do you know anybody by the name of Angeal or Genesis?" i ask him

"Oh Angeal!! I know him!! Hes my mentor!!" he yells hopping up and down.

I giggle at how energetic he is.

"Do you know where he is?" i ask

"Yup!! I'll take you to him!!" he smiles and grabs my wrist.

"O-oi wait!!" before i can protest he drags me off somewhere.

~TIME SKIP~

"ANGEAAAALLL!!!" zack yells and pushes me through a door.

"Huh? Oh Raiden hi" Angeal says "Is Zack giving you a hard time?" he asks laughing a little.

"Wha- hey!! I helped her for your information!" zack says while pouting.

I giggle. "Thanks Zack"

"Your welcome!! Got to go now!! Byeeeee!!" Zack runs back out the door.

"Well hes....energetic." i say turning to look at angeal.

"Ooh yea. And he haz zero attention span." Angeal replys "So whats up?"

"Nothing just wanted to say hi. Sephiroth called me this morning and told me to meet him in an hour." i said

"When was that?" angeal asks

"7 am. Why?" i ask tilting my head slightly.

Angeal laughs and points to the clock. "Its 8:15."

"SERIOUSLY?!?!?!" i yell. "AHH I GOT TO GO!! SEE YA LATER ANGEAL!!" i yell then bolt out of the room.

~timeeee skippp~

I burst through the training room door panting heavily. "im here!!!" i yell.

"Your late." Sephiroth says pushing himself off of the wall.

"Sorry...lost track of time..." i say nervously while looking away.

"Lets start then. Mission commence" sephiroth says and the room changes scenery.

"Woah...why did you change it to Wutai?" i ask, looking around curiously. Just then a bunch of Wutai soldiers appear.

"Ahh...thatz why.." i say.

"I have yet to see your weapon." Sephiroth says

I take out a small pole about 5 inches long.

Sepheroth looks at me weirdly. "Thats it?" he asks.

I laugh and the pole extends out and a curved black blade appears at the end. "Nope!" i giggle.

Sephiroth looks suprised. "You know how to use a scythe...?" he asks

"Uh huh" i reply and swing it around a little.

He nods "defeat all enemy soldiers." he instructs me.

I nod and do as im told. I swing my scythe around horizontally cutting clean through 4 Wutai soldiers. I continue hacking and slashing until all of them are dead.

"Done!" i say i turn around and quickly block Sephiroths attack.

"Your reflexes are quick..." he starts. He swings his sword around and flings my scythe out of my hand. "But not quick enough." he finishes

I huff and cross my arms. "No fair." i pout.

"Yes fair. Always expect the unexpected." he tells me then puts his sword away. "Training is done." he says then the scenery goes back to the plain old boring room.

"Thats it?" i ask

He nod then walks out of the room. Jeez he could at least stay and talk.

I soon follow after him. *maybe i can find Zack..* i think to myself.

~time skip~

I find zack sitting at a lunch table with a spiky blonde. I walk up to him and poke his shoulder.

"WHAT THE- RAIDEN?! Jeez you scared the heck outta me!!" he laughs and pulls me into a seat. "Cloud this is Raiden! Raiden this is Cloud!" Zack introduces me to the spiky haired blonde.

"Hello cloud" i nod in his direction.

"Hi" he says back.

"So Raiiidennnn why did you wanna see Angeal?" Zack asks me.

"I got bored...not that i had any time to talk to him.......i was late for training" i laugh awkwardly.

"Ooooh who are you training with?" Zack asks "who who whooo?!" he yells getting close to me.

"Woahhh Zack chill." i tell him then laugh. "Sephiroth" i answer.

"General Sephiroth?! Really?!" He says all excited.

I nod. "Yup."

"Cool!! Is he mean? Or nice?" Zack asks

"You ask a lot of questions" i laugh. "And i have no idea. He seems pretty nice so far" i shrug.

"Ah Zack i have to go or i'll be late." Cloud says while getting up. "Bye Raiden." he says then leaves.

"How do you know him?" i ask Zack while picking at my food.

"We were on a mission together! We are both country boys!" Zack says happily.

"Cool cool." i smile.

"So Raiden. Tell me about your family." Zack says while resting his cheek on the palm of his hand.

"Uhh maybe next time Zack...i have to go now bye!" i quickly get up and ignore Zack who is now calling my name. I run out of the cafeteria and to my room. I walk in and shut the door behind me. I huff and pick up my phone. 32 missed calls?! From WHO?! I ask myself. "....Genesis?"
