Wedding Day

My palm sweating, I look outside the window and I see my wedding. Uta standing there looking devilishly handsome. I was scared to death I admitted to myself. I can hear the music, I can hear the ghouls outside. It seemed to me like nothing ever happened, like nothing ever was chasing me me. I did my hair and makeup the final touches. I slip my shoes on and take a big breath picking up my bouquet flowers. My dress was picked out by different people in different styles I got to choose the best one. Turns out the one that I like happened to be Uta's as well. I look at myself in the mirror. Waiting for someone to come and walk me. Yoshimura came in having a warm smile calming me down a little. Just as we were about to walk down the ale something within me screamed. I was paralyzed with fear. "What is it," he asked. "Am I putting Uta in danger by saying I do," I asked starting at the door. "I will not lie," he said looking at me making me look at him," you are but he has willingly gave up his safety for you." "I don't-" "He has made his choice," he cut me off," Uta has waited so long for you. He was afraid he would have never found you , you his other half." I blush and he cups my face. "You are like my daughter in law. And I know for a fact he will do his best to keep you safe," he told me," I will do my best as well." I hug him ," thank you Yoshimura." "It was no problem, " he told me. He then walked me out and to Uta. My heart felt like it was gonna burst. I look up to see Uta nervous and waiting.

(Uta pov)

I was so happy when I got to kissed my wife. Now married in front of our friends. She smiled in the kiss then kissed me back as our friends cheer. When we pulled back I noticed Kaneki was blushing like his old self. We both smile and soon we found ourselves going into the after party. Music filled the air and we were dancing. I look over at (Y/n) seeing her on the side line. I walk up to her taking her hand. "What is wrong, " I asked. " Something doesn't feel right," she told me. Just then a scream broke out I look behind my shoulder seeing Ghouls masks on. The alarm came on telling us we were under attack by the hunters. I quickly put my mask in after putting one on my bride. I grab her hand pulling her away. The entrance for the outside wedding was destroyed and gun shots were heard. (Y/n) froze in fear for a split second before taking off dragging me. I ran with her, but a grenade launcher shot separated us. I was blasted back away from her. She looked back as the hunters charged at me. "It's the mask maker," one man said aiming at me. "Run ," I shout to her ,but I didn't look at her not wanting to give her away. I was back on my feet almost getting shot but I didn't. ... yet. Shots flew by my head.

I used my kagune, smoke filled the area blinding them and their senses. My lightning struck them just enough to knock them out. A kid with red stitching jumped right in clearing some of my smoke. "Shit," I growl. I stop my smoke and try to sneak out. The kid found me using ghoul kagune blades to come after me. I dodged them backing up till my lightening struck his armor shocking him and shot him away from me. I then took off running in the opposite direction (Y/n) went till I was no longer followed. I then went back to the shop not finding (y/n). I became worried after midnight passed. I sat alone, the others no where near my place thinking that my wife and I were celebrating our wedding to seal us as mates.

I ran when he had shouted my whole being wanting to give into his demand. I look back and smoke had filled the area allowing almost all the other ghouls to get away. I tripped over something when I had looked back and landed in a dark alley. Card to out to try and find the ghouls , my friends, who got away. Something grabbed me pulling me into an abandoned shop. I gasp but they cover my mouth. "You need to be quiet or they will find us," they said. I then knew they were a ghoul as well. They let me go after he or she realized I wasn't gonna give us away. "What are you doing out there," she asked her eyes clearly a ghoul's. "It was my wedding day," I told her. "My name is (f/n) ~Friend's name pick one~." "My name is (y/n)," I nod slightly, then asked ," how long do you think they will be out there?" "It's best to stay here for the night, " (F/n) said sitting down after locking the door. I sat next to her and looked around it was empty besides a make shift bed in a corner. I then look at her closer. She had torn up clothes and her hair was dirty looks like it wasn't washed in a week. "Are you living here, " I asked. "I have no where to go the ghouls that I met here were not like you they wanted to kill me," she answers looking into her hands. We talked silently for a while.....
