"This is amazing!" Perry exclaimed, twirling in the center of the apartment that Holly had lead her up to. "It's any home designer's dream!"

Holly stayed by the door, wanting to see the way Perseus could be if she wasn't worried about how to act. "Take your shoes off, if you want to, relax, I want to see you enjoy yourself."

Perry grinned at her, caught up in the moment. She carefully stepped out of her shoes, leaving them there, before racing to the wall of windows. The view of the city at night made her laugh and she turned to Holly with excitement in her eyes. "My city sparkles!" She told her and Holly noted the childish tone of her voice with interest.

The wooden floor felt warm beneath the soles of Perry's feet as she walked over to the white suede couch. She reached out to touch the green, white, and grey suede pillows with the tips of her fingers, smiling as she left lines in the fuzz. The vase of dark red roses on the small glass coffee table caught her attention next, she bent to sniff one of the fragrant flowers. "I always love the smell of roses." She told Holly, moving on to chairs. She gave them a disinterested glance, concentrating more on the feel of the plush olive green rug beneath her toes. Laughing, she danced a few steps forward and then back. "What is this kind of couch called?" She asked, laying down on the flat bed-like couch, resting her head on the pillow end.

"I believe it is called a futon, but I could be wrong." Holly answered, joining her, sitting on the other edge. Perseus sat up and looked at her, suddenly remembering that she had asked about doing something other than kissing once they reached the apartment. Holly noticed the change in her behavior and asked, "What has you blushing, Perseus?"

Perry looked down at her lap, afraid to seem like she was asking Holly for anything more. "You asked me if I was comfortable doing more than kissing after dinner at your apartment. It is after dinner and we are at your apartment."

"I did say that, didn't I!" Holly pretended that she was just remembering that as well, not wanting Perseus to think she was too eager. "I'm going to get you drink first, wait right here." Perry just nodded and Holly got up and went into the kitchen. Perry wanted to see what the kitchen and the rest of the apartment looked like but she also wanted to do as Holly said. She could hear glass clinking and other sounds coming from the kitchen. Was that the sound of a microwave? It took a few minutes but Holly came out carrying a coffee mug.

Perseus took the mug from her and took a sip without looking to see what it was. The comforting taste surprised her and she looked up at Holly, slightly confused. "Warm milk?" She asked, drinking more of it, enjoying the feeling of the warmth going down into her chest.

"Yes, is it the right temperature? I don't want it to be too hot or not warm enough." Holly said, acting like it was completely normal to offer an adult a cup of warm milk. She imagined Perseus drinking the milk from a bottle and smiled. Perhaps later if she was comfortable with the kind of relationship that Holly knew she wanted.

"It's perfect, thank you." Perry said, holding the mug with both hands. She hadn't had warm milk in quite awhile and was realizing that she missed it. Was this what Holly had meant when she said she wanted to take care of her? Warm milk? What else could it mean?

"I can see your mind spinning, Perseus." Holly said quietly, seeing that one of the straps of her dress had slid off of her shoulder. She pulled the strap back up, noticing that Perry shivered at her touch. "What are you thinking about?"

This time, Perry didn't blush when she looked into Holly's eyes, setting the now empty mug on the floor beside them. "I still don't understand what you want from me." She told her, hoping that Holly would understand, that she wasn't just being clueless.

Holly sighed and moved closer to Perry until they were only inches apart. "I don't really know a better way to explain it, Perseus, but I don't want you to run from me." She leaned in and gave her a kiss, tangling her fingers in the hair at the nape of Perseus' neck. The kiss deepened but Holly pulled away all too soon for Perry's liking.

"I also like this." Holly said, getting up to go get something from her bedroom. She returned quickly, not letting Perry see the item in her hand until she was easing the tip of the adult pacifier past her lips.

Perseus reached up to touch the plastic ring attached to the guard of the pacifier but didn't take it out yet. She looked up at Holly, an adorably confused look in her eyes.

She let Holly take the pacifier out, her tongue flicking out at her bottom lip. "You want me to be a baby?" She asked, wondering at the way the pacifier had made her feel. It was like she was a child, she'd felt safe in Holly's presence. She'd also felt curious, she didn't understand but there were no negative feelings.

"No, Perseus." Holly could see that Perry was close to understanding, she just had to find the right words. "I am a caregiver. I want you to be my little. Would you like to know more?"

Perry nodded, wanting the pacifier back. "What is a little?" With all the new questions that Holly was presenting her with, Perry cared less about the answer to the question if she was a lesbian. Did a label really matter when she was certain she was attracted to this woman?
