It's been a week since everything happened. I still hadn't been talking to anyone nor had mom woked up. Ena called the two first days but then stopped which was kinda relaxing since my phone vibrated every two seconds with Andie, Cody and Axl's numbers. Cody and Axl hadn't stopped calling since the first day.
My family were all gathered around in the hospital since 4 days back. They all had been ending their vacation when they heard the news. It was nice to have my siblings around but it was annoying me since they all babbled all the time about what had happened. On the other hand, the only thing I cared about was mom waking up. I didn't care how long it would take, I just had to see her face.
"Hey, we're going to the cafeteria, you coming?" Lizzy, my sister asked.
"No thanks, I'm fine." I said quietly.
I looked at them as they went out from the hospital room and left the room alone with me and my mom in it.
My phone kept vibrating. Each two seconds, it was either Cody or Axl. I didn't mind even picking up, I had ignored exactly everyone but my family. I missed my dear bestfriend so much that I was starting to feel really sad. She always knew how to make me happy or what to say.. gosh, I missed that girl!
My phone started vibrating again then it went to voicemail. I saw that it was Cody so I listened as he was leaving his voicemail.
''Daphne.. I.. I just wanted to tell you that I'm in Australia now.. and.. I really truly do miss you.. I'm having a concert tonight. I wish you could be there. I miss you, alot. I really hope your mom's okay. I.. I love you.''
A tear slipped down my cheek as a few more made their way down. I bent over to my mom's little bed and put my head on her hand as I started crying more. I missed him really much, I really did. God how I wish I was right there beside him in the green room, sharing some laughs with Alli and the others as we waited for that clock to hit the time he was supposed to perform, when I kissed him good luck but instead I was lying here, ignoring everyone that once had been so close to me and just focused on my mom waking up.
''D.. Daphne..'' I heard some familiar voice say.
I looked up and saw that my mom had opened her eyes.
''MOM?!''
''Mom, you're awake!!'' I said half-yelling.
''Call for a doctor please.''
I ran out to find a doctor to tell them that my mom had just woken up. I saw a middle aged nurse making her way to another room when I fast grabbed her arm telling her that mom had woken up. She told a few doctors as they all made their way to mom's hospital room.
I called my dearest aunt, telling her that mom had finally waked up. I could hear her looking for her car keys as she tried to make her way to the hospital. I loved my aunt, she could be your bestfriend, mom, sister, whatever you name it.
My siblings and dad entered the door as they saw that mom was awake. The room was full of joy. Everybody was happy, it really felt good.
''She's a real fighter and she's lucky to have you.'' Her doctor said as he smiled at me.
I smiled back not knowing what to say or do.
I saw my aunt running in to the room with her cute high heels and lovely outfit. I laughed at her and saw that she went straight away to my mom's bed and greeted her before even looking at us.
I stood up and went out to take a fresh air. I took my phone with me just because I really didn't want the others to get annoyed by all the noises it would make while I was gone.
