The Popstar She Met Online (Chapter 13)

(Cody's POV)

I couldn't handle it anymore. I couldn't be away from her. I really had to see her.

I went downstairs to see if mom and dad were there. I found them at the living room.

"Mom, dad.."

I was now facing them both.

"Yes, son?"

"Can I please fly back to Sweden just for a few days?"

"Cody, we know you miss your girlfriend and that her mom's in the hospital but you know there's a full booked schedule on the fridge that is for you and only you, right?"

"But please.."

"We would've let you if you weren't booked for interviews, studio sessions, dance rehearsals, shows and etc."

"But I will be home for the most important things, I promise!''

"*sighs* Fine then! But only because I know you're good at handling stuff like this but I don't want to loose my trust in you.''

''THANK YOU so much mom! Dad..''

''Ask your manager..''

''So if my manager says yes then you'll let me?''

''I didn't say that..''

I called Matt within a second and talked as fast as I could and then hung up on him cause I knew he would say no in first place.

''Cody..''

''Yes?''

''Why did you hung up on him without getting an answer?''

''Uhh..''

Before I could say more, Matt called. I picked up after the second signal and let him speak.

"Cody..''

''Uha?''

''Can you please stop hanging up on me every single time that you ask something like this?''

''Uh, I didn't hung up on you. It was a bad connection..''

''And you expect me to believe that?''

''Yup..''

''Look, Cody! I know long distance relationships are hard to keep when you don't see each other so often but you have alot and I really do mean alot to do these upcoming days so I don't think it's a good idea to actually leave..''

''I understand that Matt but I'm coming home like in two days, so please!''

''What did your parents say?''

''Mom was actually okay with it but dad wanted me to check up with you first..''

''Are you sure about that?''

''Here.. Talk to them!''

I handed dad the phone and they started talking.

''Codes, go upstairs. We'll come over after we're done talking.''

I went upstairs but hid behind some wall to try and hear what they were saying.

''And I don't wanna see you hiding there, son!''

Crap, mom was good at this. I decided to go in to my room and go on Twitter on my laptop for a little bit.

I went threw my mentions and saw how tweets came in every two seconds.

I decided to answer a few then I searched for Daphne's Twitter to look through her account. Her last tweet was like three days ago so I guess she was still upset about her mother and everything.
