"Shit get this Fucker off of me!'
"Kind of getting screwed over here too!"
"Dammit what the hell are the others doing?!"
"Dying."
"Fuck!"(Together)
Looking over at Silvia I smile. "Again?"
Rolling her eyes as if I had just asked her if she was white skinned, she pressed start. "Duh."
That's how our night went, we played Land of the Dead all night. Screaming and cackling at each others problems and mishaps. It was Friday night so we could stay up all night playing video games. Hell we have lived in "my" room for spring break playing zombie co-op games, leaving only to go to the bathroom and get food. Even then we took turns so that one of us was always re-killing the already dead. It was our favorite thing to do. We usually had good grades and if one of us didn't the other helped get them back up. Eventually we'd pass out and die of course but when we wake up it'd be saved to the last safe house. Technology, so nice.
Waking up to find Silvia already at the controls of the game killing zombies. I smelt food and simply looked at her. She shook her head yes and I hurried downstairs to get us both food before her siblings got up to it. Smiling at Grandma when I got down I loaded two plates full of bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes, waffles, sausages. Got two glasses full of Orange Juice, two forks, and a bottle of syrup. Placing one plate upon another in one hand, snapping the forks in my teeth, and snatching the cups and syrup in my other hand, I go upstairs. Wagging my butt at Grandma as a good bye. I hear her laugh at me and continue to finish cooking. So many kids to feed you have to make sure there is enough for them all. Especially the way we eat after shifting, lots of calories.
Taking the dinner plates down, I hear a knock at the door. "One moment please!" I yell and rush to put the plates away check myself in the mirror to make sure I look okay. Something flickers in the mirror my, eyes change and then go back to normal. Startled I shake it off and go grab the door. Standing there is Angel.
His dark hair is cut short and he looks as handsome as ever, brown eyes entrancing. I shake the shock off of my face. "Is Silvia here?"
"Not a good time, video games, and well you know how that goes. With both of us. How about she call you when we finish the game? I think we are almost to the end now."
"Just when ever would be great. Thanks." Turning around he walks off. Breathing I close the door. We had recently gotten into an argument and haven't been talking. It sucked, but things will get better, least thats what everyone keeps promising.
"Who was that?" I quickly turn around, startled.
"Oh, it's you. Jeez you scared me. It was Angel and he wanted to talk to you but, I told him that it was not a great timing. We were playing games and so he said okay and just asked me to ask you to call him latter." I said simply while still calming down.
"Are you okay?" That's all she asked me. It was nice that she was more concerned with me than him but I was still shocked.
"I'm okay, for some reason I just froze when I saw him. I'm okay now though I promise." She looked skeptically at me but just shook her head.
"Well come on then we have more Zombies to slay!" She then shot up the stairs giggling and singing. I follow her up the stairs thinking about how awkward that was and hoping it would be over with soon.
