I am in love with His quietness,
His presence in the early morning sun.
The way He touches me at night,
When two shadow’s become one.
I am in love with His disposition,
He knows His purpose and His prey.
The way He whispers in my ears,
Sweet affections and cliché’s.
I am in love with His compassion,
He’s seen the heartbreak in my eyes.
Yet still He never leaves me,
In spite of their goodbyes.
But I hate that He’s a lie,
He’s just a void in the unknown.
He’s nothing but that- just nothing,
He’s my lover,
He’s alone.
