I stare back into my dark forest green eyes that always held a silent challenge in them. My once slightly tanned, if not just pink, skin is now a pale color that makes me look as if I am sick. My black hair, which should make me look even paler, is now closer to brown, although it's still dark. I notice my arms seem slightly thinner and spaghetti-like. What in the world...? My eyes are the same, but the rest of my body seems foreign and weird. I still look like myself, but I don't. How is this even possible?
I shake my head and back out of the bathroom, trying not to dwell on the fact that I'm changing. That scare snapped me right back into how I should be feeling about an event like this; I need to get out of here, now.
I head outside, not bothering with the door since it was open the whole time anyways. Chilly breezes carress my face and I shiver. I waste time drinking in every detail. It was all so beautiful. I shake my head and focus to the task as hand, but as it turns out it doesn't matter. I can't escape.
I am on top of a mountain.
I go around the whole place and it seems I can't get down without hurting myself. Someone, somehow put a house completely isolated on top of a mountain. How did I even get up here? I don't think there's enough room for a helicopter.
I decide to go back inside the house and plan my next move.

I was out hiking with Cris to our usual spot. I had secretly been looking forward to this for a while since I knew how close we were to the abandoned house our path was. Up until recently it was just a boring old house that was the subject of many childhood ghost stories. But a few days ago people started talking about someone hiding out there. No one had really seen anything but a few have said they've heard noises and seen shadows in the house. No one had been sent yet to see if the rumors were true but I figured someone would go check it out soon, whether it be an official or someone else.
I actually brought with me some binoculars, a silly little human thing that was supposed to help you see farther. I let Cris lead since I didn't want him to know just yet of my spying.
Cris sits down a few feet away on a rock and pulls out his food. I do the same but I keep my eyes on him since I also didn't want him to find the human invention I brought. I'd never hear the end of it.
Finally, he seems to become completely focused on his food and I take my chance. I stare over at the house and watch it carefully, ready to whip out the stupid binoculars at the first sign of movement.
I watch for a while, but nothing happens and eventually I start eating my food as well.
Just as we pack up to leave, I see a flicker of movement dance across the blinds in a window. I open my mouth to shout at Cris but then close it again as a figure steps out of the house. My heart races with excitement as I watch the figure make its way to the clothes drying on the clothesline. I should have seen it sooner... The clothes on the clothesline are not the same ones that usually hung there. I take out my binoculars swiftly and focus on the figure with them.
A girl who looks to be a teenager is dressed only in a towel as she removes the clothes from the clothesline. I look her up and down and lick my lips. Damn, she looked to be a good f#ck.
I watch her go inside and I smile to myself. Well, first come first served, right?
