Tomorrow is my first day of school and I'm not looking forward to it. I'm in my room doing the one thing that I grew to love drawing. It was the one thing that I did when  my real parents would leave the house or were sleeping. It was a type of escape because I was able to draw places that I wish I could be.Thanks to the Harrison I was able to access to more art supplies than just a piece paper I found on the floor  and a pencil.  "Allison come down here." my mom yelled up to me. I put my art stuff away and made my way down stair were I found my mom in the kitchen unpacking  the last of things. "What's up?"  "Can you to go down to the diner and pick up our dinner." "Sure." " It should be done when you get so you wont have to wait." I nodded my head and got my jacket and walked out the door.

I decide to walk to the diner because  one it was close to our house, two it was one of the few places that I actually know  and have visit many times since moving here  and three  it was a nice cool October evening.  When I finally get to the diner and walk up to counter and give them my last name. They told me it's going to be a few more minutes, so I decide to go and sit down. Of  course  the only  table open was the one  next to a group of kids that looked around me age. There  were  girls that look like the type of girls you see on TV in those fake high school shows or those wanna be Instagram influencers.  I don't know what is in the water here but all the guys  are basically 10's. Watching them they look like they were have a great time and part of me wished that I could experience that. To know what it would feel like to have a group of friends, to be carefree  and dare I say have a boyfriend. "Hey loser what are you looking at?" one the girl asked. "I umm..." "Are your death? Answer me!" now the whole group was looking at me. "No I wasn't staring at you guys" "Then theres the door you can back to where you came from. Which by the way you are dressed it looks like the street."They started laughing so  I tried not to let them get me by just looking away and sat down.

"You guys stop. She is totally hot" I heard one of the guys says.  "why don't you come with me and we can have some fun?" One of the guys yelled.  I didn't even respond to him but I could feel my heartbeat speeding up. Next thing I know one the guys comes and sits by me and put his arm around me and rubs my arm and all the horrible memories start to come.  "Don't listen to them. It's okay I will show  you everything you need to know" "Ummm.."  I could feel the tears coming up and my heat beat going  faster. "Yeah come on"and he started to lean in trying kiss me. He  pushed  me up against the wall so I did thing that help me a in the pass. I spat in his face and    crawling under the table. That's when I hear my last name. I  ran to the counter got my food and turn around than  boom. Next thing I know I hear some girl yell, there is pop and food all over me and  her and I'm on the floor.

"Looks she finally got some action guys." I couldn't help myself the tears started coming I just stood up and ran towards the door. My mom would understand why I returned with no food. I really couldn't see because of the tears blurry my eyes when I ran into what feels like a brick wall. Unlike the last time  I didn't fall on the ground. Instead whoever I ran in to was holding on to my arms. "Hey are you okay" I started trying to fight my way out of his arms.  I tried to say as something but  the tears were flowing.   I could hear the group of kids laughing and making jokes. Finally I can feel the guy is not holding me anymore but put his  soft hands on my face.  "Hey hey , look at me" I looked up and was met with the most beautiful brown eyes I have ever seen. "Take a deep breath." I did what he said and I could feel my heart rate slowing down and the tears stoping. After a few minutes the guy talked again "Go wait outside I will be there in a second" I don't know why I was trusting this guy but there was something about him that felt safe.
