Heyy.This is my first story so please no hate thanks.:)

                                                                            Chapter 1:Getting Rejected

Lightning's Pov:

                   As I woke up I had decided to hurry and get ready for school it was 7:54 am and school started at 8:00am. Shit! I was gonna be late, I threw on a pair of black leggings and a My Chemical Romance T-shirt and slipped on my combat boots and leather jacket and rushed down the stairs. I stopped in the kitchen to grab an apple and was surprised to see that my mom wasn't there. It was very unusual she was always there to say goodbye to me before I left for school even when I ran late at times. 

        I looked at my phone and it was now 7:58 but, I wasn't very worried I only lived down the road from the school, which was a very good thing sometimes.. As I walked into the school doors my friend Cassie came over to me and greeted me with a smile. Cassie and I had been friends since pre-school, she had long wavy blonde hair and forest-like green eyes. We were very similar only my eyes were more of a gold-like color with purple specks.

"Good-morning Cassie, why are you looking at me like that?" I asked.

       No later than a second she punched my shoulder and shouted at me, "Don't you dare tell me you had forgotten your own birthday!" All that passed through my mind at that given moment was oh shit I'm gonna die today on the day I was conceived into this world. "Look Cassie I did.... But I can explain. I-" Just as I was about to give her my horrible excuse the bell rang. Nothing better than being Saved By The Bell.

               We both went our separate ways and I couldn't help but remember that today would be the day that I will find my mate. Without paying any attention to where I was going I ran into what felt like a wall, before I had the chance to fall to the ground muscular arms enveloped around me and balanced me.

         Being very close in the envelopment of someone's arms my body had stung with waves of pleasure. My eyes traveled up the male's well developed torso soon meeting eyes with the one and only Tyler Johnston. My wolf purred as if she was a cat in pleasure and said the words I never even imagined were possible, MATE. Tyler was the next in line Alpha of the Dark Shadows Pack and my brother's closest friend..... But even worse the school jock and playboy.

              Not even bothered that we were both late now for Robotics, we just stood in silence eye contact not breaking. After awhile of just silence he pushed me away and said not to say a word about this to anyone and we would have a discussion later. There was no understatement to say the lease that I was scared shitless about when this later conversation would take place. I had missed all of first period due to the incident in the hallway so before I could be late for another class I rushed to Language Arts and took my seat three minutes before the bell would ring.

(Later that day)

               It has been hours since Tyler and I had found out we were mates. I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if he was here right now. Just as I was thinking more and more about the things we would be doing I heard an "Earth to Lightning." Standing in front of me was Cassie waving two set of dresses in front of me and two pairs of shoes.

"Sorry I was zoned out Cassie, why do you have two sets of outfits?" I asked in curiosity.

"Well we are going out for your birthday and Ma had said she agreed and it was a great idea, so go put this pair on now and I'll do your hair and makeup!" She screamed excitedly.

                   As I put on the gold color dress that had purple and blue specks in the gems, I stared at myself for awhile. There was no way I was gonna go out like this. The dress had just barely covered my butt! And my 5'3" figure was now 5'6" with the black heels on. As I went to take off the dress Cassie flung open the bathroom door. Shit...

Ty's Pov:

       I was at the Vamos club just drinking a beer and thinking over past events from today. I couldn't believe my beta's sister was my mate. She wasn't like many girls but one thing I'd known for sure was she wouldn't make a right fit as Luna. Don't get me wrong she was gorgeous but she was weak and worthless at the same time.

     I can't be a strong powerful alpha with a weak and worthless mate or then I and my pack would be seen as weak and worthless. But what I did know is that I didn't mean one word I had said to her earlier today about discussing this conversation later, all I wanted to do tonight was get drunk and laid.

     I was brought out of my thoughts when I hand approached very close to my big buddy down below. I looked up to see that the hand had belonged to a gorgeous red head who had a perfect amount of freckles on her face and nice plush and big lips. She had looked very innocent but not as innocent as my beautiful mate Lightning... What! One minute I was talking about this red head and Lightning over took my mind.

    As I believed I was starting to loose my mind I smelt that perfect vanilla-lavender smell and looked in the direction of the smell, in front of me was a very pissed off Lightning but what do I care for. She isn't my mate, my mate will be very strong and endorsing. I concentrated hard over the noise of the club and mind-linked only Lightning, "I Tyler Johnston the Alpha of Dark Shadows reject you Lightning Sanchez." With that I smirked at her aw like facial expression and kissed the beautiful red head beside me grabbing her hand and leading her towards the center of the club's dance floor.
